in an International Hotel chain he identified a flawed security system which would allow millions of pounds worth of high value goods and securities to be stolen.

an accounting fraud worth a quarter of a million pounds was discovered within a Government Department. The true figure would have been in the tens of millions had the investigation expanded into 20 or 30 similar departments with similar practices.

Ian has been involved in many more fraud investigations involving retail, hospitality, procurement and benefits. These days though, he prefers to help organisations prevent fraud from occurring in the first place by ensuring the correct systems and controls are in place.
