Technical Data Enosh painting...

Complete coverage for all your noise and vibration problems Product description
Enosh Painting as a high performance, viscoelastic coating used to dampen vibration and reduce unwanted noise. Vibration and noise energy is dissipated throughout the applied surface.

Applications
Enosh painting has excellent adhesion properties to all surfaces, including metal, fiberglass, and most plastics. Use on air ducts, shroud, pump enclosures, engine enclosures, generator covers, sorters, chutes, hoppers, wherever you want to reduce noise. Can be used on all surfaces, including steel, aluminum and fiberglass, walls and ceilings.

Application method
Enosh painting is easily applied by using a sprayer, a brush or a roller and it has the ability of clean up easy with water. Covers 40 to 50 square feet per gallon at approximately 4 mil thickness.

Approvals
Western Electro Acoustical Laboratory (WEAL).

Acoustical properties
Meets or exceeds ASTM E-162, ASTM E-662 and ASTM E84 for surface flammability and smoke density.

Physical properties
Viscosity: 400+/-100MPASS Flash Point: 200F (liquid) Density: 1350 kg/m3 Colour Available only light colors Solids (vol %)* 73 Sound absorption: from 6 db to 8 db

Water resistance Excellent Abrasion resistance Very good Solvent resistance Very good Chemical resistance Very good Flexibility Excellent

Surface preparation
Dry, clean, oil and dust free surface.

Condition during application

If on metal, lightly scuff with an 80 grit paper and clean. If on fiberglass or plastic, ensure that it is not a glossy surface, such as an exterior gel coat. If it is an exterior (shiny) gel coat or an epoxy such as West that forms an "amine blush" after curing, wash thoroughly to remove any waxes, mold release or blush. Allow it to dry and scuff with an 80grit paper and clean.

Drying time
Enosh paint is best applied with the ambient, material and substrate temperature in the range of 65 - 85 degrees F. Higher temperatures will result in longer dry times, and enosh painting should be applied in thinner coats as sagging may occur. Higher temperature coats should not exceed 2 - 3 mils in thickness, if there is any question, a small test area should be coated. Wait 20-30 minutes to observe the results. Remember, usually with higher temperatures comes higher humidity. Higher humidity will result in longer dry times.

Storage
The storage conditions are to keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.

Handling
Handle with care. Stir well before use.

Packing size
4 liter, 8 liter & 20 liter. For Special orders we can customize container up to 100 liter

Validity time
Valid for one year from the date of the production.
