Managing, monitoring and evaluation are three steps in the process of performance team work activities. It plays important roles in many projects and programs. Monitoring can be distinguished from evaluation in part by its objectives. Performance management is the systematic process which focuses on the performance of an organization, a department, employee as well as many other areas. Moreover, it is to establish a shared understanding about what is to be achieved, and an approach to managing and developing people (BPP Working with and Leading people pg194). Performance management aim is to create plan to achieve the goal. The purpose of monitoring is to track continuous progress whereas the purpose of evaluation is to assess particular objectives which have been achieved. Through three steps in this process to carrying on teamwork activity, we can review development needs and activities and evaluate the effectiveness of activities (BPP Working with and Leading people pg193). Needs assessment and development activities and evaluate performance. Evaluation is the assessment system, and targeted a project, program or policy is being done or has ended, and design, implementation and results of determining the purpose and implementation of appropriate items objectives, development efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of its impact.
