Rules for existing T&R Members Below is a list of rules that all T&R Members must abide by. Failure to abide by these rules will lead to dismissal from the Training and Recruitment Department, and if serious enough, termination of your Officer Status and removal from the Police Department. 1. Ensure Recruits are doing their job. - Recruits are the newest members to the police department. Obviously they will make mistakes. - Simply check on the Recruits and ask them if they need help on ANYTHING. Let them know that it's ok to ask questions. - If a recruit makes a mistake, tell them about it. Tell them what they did, and how to improve from it. If it's a major mistake, inform High Command by doing an IA Report. ((Major mistake as in powergaming, metagaming, server rule stuff and just other BIG stuff.)) 2. Every T&R Member must be seen as role models to everyone in the LSPD. -T&R is the most important division in the police department. -We train and decide who joins the staff. -Anyone that fails to show maturity, being a role model, will be dismissed from T&R. 3. Do not ignore an applicant.

- If someone is waiting for their interview, ride along, whatever the case is; make sure that you do it. Ignoring the applicant without reason might result in a T&R dismissal. - The applicant used their time to submit an application and wait. Don't make them wait even more. You wouldn't want to wait, so don't make them. - We understand that T&R may not be the most interesting, but it pays off. It's a good feeling when you recruit someone, and then they progress ranks.

4. Only do what you're allowed to do. - Only conduct T&R duties you are allowed to conduct. All T&R members are allowed to perform every T&R duty except accepting applications. When doing officer tests, make sure to check with the Chief if you have permission to do so first. 5. Do not give anyone the T&R manual. - If we see or hear of anyone doing this, you will be immediately fired from T&R. Also, you will be given an IA strike and possibly dismissed from the LSPD. 6. Must be active. - This has been the biggest problem in T&R. - Its as simple as counting to three, if you arent active, you will either be demoted or fired from T&R. 7. Must be loyal. - T&R is the core of LSPD. We cant have people that dont want to do their job in this division. If you apply for another division, you will be dealt with correctly.

Standard Applicant. Interview part 1.

**Remember to always ask the applicant for a link to their application before starting any step of the Training and Recruitment process! **

Interview- Role-play Terms, Handbook Questions, Role-play Test.

Part 1- Role-play Terms You will ask the applicant to define the following role-play terms:
**Make sure they have a clear understanding of the rule, rough definitions do not count.** Deathmatching - Killing without an RP, in character reason and/or without any RP involved. Metagaming - Using OOC information ICly, and vice versa Powergaming - Forcing RP on someone, and/or not giving them adequate time to respond to the RP. An example is /me kills John Smith. **NOTE: If the applicant fails to define Metagaming or Powergaming it is an automatic failure. There is no excuse to not know these terms when applying for a faction such as the LSPD. ** Avoiding IC consequences - Logging or tabbing to avoid IC consequences such as death, kidnapping, etc.

Revenge Killing/RKing - Going back to the scene you died last within the 30min rule to avenge whoever killed you 30 Minute rule - The rule that states you can't RP in the scene you died in for 30mins, or RP with the person that killed you for 30mins" Kill on Sight/KOS - Inflicting damage upon another player with none or minimal role-play. Car Ramming - Using your vehicle to hit into another player or players vehicle. Give an example of non-RP Behavior - Anything you wouldn't do IRL, such as non-RPly pushing cars, etc.The applicant must get at least 8/9 on the role-play terms section.
