Problem
1. Is there a significant relationship between the reflection of the Sun and the alternative cooking equipment (heated grill that used the reflection of the Sun that serve as the fire for cooking the food)? 2. Which is more environmental friendly, the alternative solar cooking grill or the modernized cooking grills (like the barbecue grills)? 3. Is there a significant relationship between the period of time it takes for the hotdog to be cooked using the alternative solar cooking grill than using modernized cooking grill?

Rationale
We choose this study among all the numerous problems in the world concerning physics and we arrive to this kind of problem because the materials are provingly economical, the time and day that will be manage in just exact amount of time or in promptly manner and because it is such a big help to the environment that includes the economical status and the maximazing the idea of recycling. It is truly a fact that majority of the people today are dumping cartoons, cardboard or shoe boxes by burning or throwing them anywhere and stocked them into their basement that can cause messy surroundings and add a new problem to the environment. So we introduce this idea or study for them also to help reduce the fire which are fatal to human beings. And another reason is that using charcoal when grilling foods can create a problem to the environment because burning of fossil fuels like charcoals that produces smoke which deplete ozone layer and causes health disease can lead to global warming/greenhouse effect and etc. If they tend to use woods instead of charcoal, it also create a big problem because using woods is connected with cutting trees and even it produces smoke. So instead of using the two of the materials, why use the sunlight as the source of heat in cooking the hotdogs right? In the study, the sun will hit the reflective surface and focuses on the hotdog held at the center. Most of us today are in disgust with the Sun's rays that involves personal reason but we forget to realize that the Sun is a big help to our lives even for this study. So to eliminate the disgust, we will use this study as pattern for future researchers that there should be the treasuring and maintaing the ecological balance of the environment.

Materials
2 pieces of heavy cardboard a)1st piece- at least 10 inches square b)2nd piece- at least 4 inches by 5 inches Piece of light posterboard (18 inches wide and 16 inches long) Aluminum foil (12 inch wide and about 32 inches of the material) Masking tape 9 inches long sticks (skewers) (1/16 inch in diameter)

Procedures
1. Select a long narrow box (the longer the box, the more heat collection is possible) 2. Choosing a focal length between 5" and 10" 3. Design a parabolic curve and trace the curve on the open end of the box so that it is centered and straight. 4. Cut out the curve, measure and cut a piece of pasteboard that will fix flush against to the box, attach this with tape beginning at the center and working toward the edges. 5. Cover the curve with white glue and apply aluminum foil shiny side out. Start in the middle and smooth toward the edges and remember do not try to crumple or fold the foil, it should be smooth. 6. Use 2 scraps of cardboard taped to each side as supports. Using the sun or a projector light, test the focal point. There should be a bright spot where light is concentrated, mark this spot and punch a hole for the skewer. Use a section of a coat hanger from which the paint has been removed for a skewer and thread your hotdog to the skewer and place it on the section of a coat hanger. Then wait for the time the hotdog will be cooked for minutes or hours and once it is cooked, it is then ready to serve.

Implications
This study implies to have, apply and exercise the information disseminations to the people on the proper recycling of old and dilapidated shoe box/cartons and other recycle wastes should be intensified. It also implies that solar cooking grill serve as an eye opener for those who don't have grill in their backyards who want to convert from their old boxes into an alternative cooking equipment.Thus, it provide information to the students and teachers

with respect to the recycling of carton boxes. Furthermore, the outcome of the study will provide empirically-based information to policy makers in Ecological recycled waste management. Junk cartons are usually stocked or thrown out elsewhere and it is serve as a motivationg factor for the schools and institutions to direct their students and to further strengthen the abilities of turning old boxes into an alternative cooking equipment to maximize the recycling of old boxes and lessen the factors that degrade the environment.

Time Table
The proponents in this study don't have big problems with how much time and day it will take to solve the problem. 3 reasons why do we don't have problems with it, it is because some of the said materials are already available at home and some of it will be bought, 2nd the procedures are easy to do if the proponents will do the exercise properly by following the step by step process of accomplishing the possible outcome and last of all, since there are days that are taken to be holidays and free day, the proponents will grab the opportunity of taking the responsibility in performing the experiment.

Budget
The materials that are involved in this project proposal/study are not expensive or looking forward to classy materials in making an innovated design of the study. All the materials are available at home or either in malls and the proponents strongly prove that materials to be bought will be economical and prices are in low cost.
