GENERAL RULES*1) No other promotional material (other than graffiti) would be provided by the Milestone Committee.

2) Time limit for Dance and Fashion Show is 6-10 minutes (each). Music will be turned off after the set time limit. 3) Teams are supposed to submit their sound tracks for dance and fashion show in 2 separate CDs (1 for dance + 1 for fashion show) properly labelled before 6 PM on 25th August 2012. 4) All teams are expected to maintain a code of conduct during the entire event, no fights and altercations will be tolerated. 5) Any misbehaviour on account of the team will not be tolerated and the team, if required will be PENALISED OR DISQUALIFIED from the entire event. 6) In all disciplinary matters and disputes complete authority will lie with the Milestone committee members. Their decision will be final and binding. 7) All the communications will be made to the Captains and its their responsibility to check whether the team is reporting for each game on the scheduled time. 8) In case of late arrival by the team for a particular event, the team shall not be permitted to take part in that competition. 9) It is compulsory for all the participants of every team to come for the inaugural ceremony of BUZZ-HARD. 10) Any member of a team who has been either directly or indirectly a part of designing any of the games will not be allowed to participate in that game. 11) Graffiti designing is compulsory for all the teams and it has weightage while deciding the winner of BUZZ-HARD event. It would be judged on the criteria of creativity, clarity of message conveyed and overall appeal. 12) Graffiti themes would be given on day of Captains Meet. 13) Graffiti is to be submitted latest by 26th August, 7.00 PM and no late entries will be entertained.

TEAM PROMOTION RULES*:


1) Teams can start promotion from 23rd August, mid-night and will continue till 24th August 12, 14:00 hrs. 2) Area designated for the promotion is from mess to B block. a) Promotions are prohibited inside hostels. b) Promotions are prohibited both inside & outside Mess, Co-op. c) Promotion is not allowed in any parts of the LRC, AEC and FACULTY BLOCK. d) Six on Six ground is reserved for base camps. Milestone Committee will allot space to teams on the basis of lucky draw. 3) Disciplinary action will be taken in case of removing and overlapping of any kind of promotional material of other teams, also points would be deducted for the same, for example a spot once acquired by a team should not be used by other team, so each team is responsible for covering most of the space through news papers / clothes etc during promotional run. 4) Teams can use only those spots for their promotion which they have captured during promotional run, any team found removing other team banners or hiding other team banner under their banner will be penalised. 5) Milestone Committee is not responsible in case of any tampering with the teams promotional material. 6) Any harm or damage caused to college property (floors, walls, washrooms, etc.) during promotion or the entire event will result in immediate dismissal of team and the team would pay for the damages. Milestone Committee will not be responsible for any such happening. 7) Promotional material put up by them should be removed by 26th August 2012, 20:00 hrs. 8) No sharp or inflammable objects should be used for promotional activities. 9) Any unethical promotional material or strategy will be penalised, it may also lead to disqualification. 10) Any TV, radio, print media partner, internet such as use of Facebook and e-mails are not allowed for team promotions. Teams will be negatively marked for this. 11) The hostel terraces will be opened for a limited period of time for team promotions; timing will be communicated to team captains. 12) Use of paint on walls and roads is strictly PROHIBITED.

13) Decision of the judges will be binding and final. 14) No animals can be used for any kind of promotional activity. 15) Trees and plants should not be harmed during promotions. Use of nails, hammer on the college property is prohibited. 16) No outsider and/or any other student manager except the team members can be used for promotional purposes. 17) Use of vehicles for promotions such as car, bike and cycle is also prohibited. 18) Anything involving exchange of money cannot be used in any promotional activity. No cash handling is allowed. 19) Use of number of printed flex in the promotions is limited to 2. Any team found using more than 2 flexes for their promotion will be penalised. 20) A team occupying the space for adding a banner should also occupy the space equal to the length and breadth of the banner. More clarification for the same will be given during the captains meet. 21) The bottom end of the banner should be minimum 8 feet above the ground. 22) Horizontal distance between two banners should be 3 feet minimum

VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES WILL ATTRACT NEGATIVE MARKING. THE DECISION OF THE COMMITTEE STANDS FINAL
