One Deck of Uno Cards One Math Uno Recording Sheet per person
Directions: 1. Decide as a group if you want to play Highest Score Wins or Lowest Score Wins.
2.
Lineup cards face down in four rows of five (example shown below). Keep remaining cards in a deck off to the side.
3. First player will pick three cards and flip them over. Then they will use addition,
subtraction, multiplication and division to create the biggest number possible or smallest number possible, depending on how your group decides to play. The catch is that you can only use each operation one time per play. (For example, if you flip over a 3, 8, and 2 you would use the equation to create the smallest number possible ( verify your answer is correct. ). The other players should check your work to
4. Record the equation you decide to use on your Math Uno worksheet along with the
answer to the equation. Then set the three cards aside in a discard pile and draw three more cards from the deck and place them face down in the open spaces.
5. Now it is the next players turn to draw three cards and follow the same steps.
6. Play resumes until you have no cards left or you dont have enough cards left for a player to draw three.

Once the game is over, each player adds up all of their answers and the winner is whoever has the highest/lowest score (depending on how your group decided to play).
8. Turn in all worksheets at the end of the class period or at the end of the game. Make sure you and your group members names are on all the papers or you wont get credit.
