Middleton URS 2131 Centennial Avenue Aiken, SC 29803 Telephone: 803-502-9767 On-site Supervisor: Paige Greenaway University Supervisor: Dr. Tom Smyth I will be participating in an internship Fall semester 2012, at URS. This internship will begin August 27 and end December 3, for a total of 16 weeks, 10 hours per week, for a total of 100 hours. URS Corporation is a leading provider of engineering, construction and technical services for public agencies and private sector companies around the world. The Company offers a full range of program management; planning, design and engineering; systems engineering and technical assistance; construction and construction management; operations and maintenance; and decommissioning and closure services for federal, oil and gas, infrastructure, power, and industrial projects and programs. The responsibility of a personnel security administrator (intern) within this context is to create a procedure for issuing badges and granting access controls. The second goals are after creating this procedure train and implement the procedure into our daily activities. Learning outcomes A. Gain experience working with the badging system. B.
