Freshwater Freshwater is one of the basic needs of all living things. Nature provides us clean freshwater.

It is a free source that God has made for us. However, humans used too much of it every year. We have forgotten to take care of it and preserved its life. Nowadays water passes through a lot of problems including pollution and shortage. What makes water polluted? Industrial waste and human waste are source of polluting water. Because of our growing population, the increase of needing jobs and having a home sometimes affect water. How? By living beside rivers and using the freshwater for different kinds of purposes. Sometimes peoples wastes are being thrown in the river. All the waste we produce is slowly entering the streams of the rivers up until they reach a nearby beach or the sea. Also chemicals from industrial plants are affecting water cleanliness. Some chemicals are being mixed in the freshwater making it dangerous to drink. Even oils from transportation can pollute water. Some countries have these problems including China, US and Africa by which half of the population of the earth. Why is there a shortage of water? In the first place, if humans uses water wisely we will never get stuck in this kind of situation. But because of improper use and lack of knowledge, our freshwater is decreasing. Global warming is one cause of it. Because of the heat produce by the sun glaciers which provides us water is continuing to melt, living us the problem of shortage. Not only humans but also wildlife and plants need water to live. Agriculture uses fresh water to grow plants and crops, which human eats in order to grow. It can also sustain everyday living as their income. But what will we do if we run out of water and will not able to plant grains and crops which is our food? Now, if we will try to make a change in our daily living. Will it harm us? If we have given a chance to make actions and change the wrong weve done, we should grab it at once before its too late. There will always a solution in every problem. So, if we have problems in freshwater there are also possible solutions for it. We just need to lessen the expense of water we are using. Help clean our rivers and oceans and start educating the future generation so that they will do the same. Remember: What we do has always corresponding consequences, we may not notice it from the start but we will pay for it in the end. So, if you have done wrong, better move to make it right!
