If you share this vision and commitment, then you are exactly who we are looking for to fill in below vacancies in our Quezon City office: Economic Justice Policy Advocacy Officer (open ended) Reference INT5704 s/he will work with the Advocacy, Campaigns and Communications Programme Coordinator in the development and delivery of Oxfams economic justice research and policy advocacy agenda in the Philippines, with particular focus on agriculture, trade and climate change and to take responsibility for implementing the same. Key responsibilities include: support the development of policy positions for the Philippines on key poverty and inequality issues and produce policy briefing papers andpolicy position statements; work and coordinate with partners, allies, stakeholders and counterparts in Oxfam to develop a view and analysis of the economic justice developments/policies that impact on poverty that takes into account gender equity issues; provide strong policy analysis to partners and contribute to the development of researches that will guide their advocacy and campaigning work; manage relationships with partners and capacitate them to undertake economic justice advocacy and campaigns; support the learning process, ensuring that learning feeds into the improvement of overall programme quality; develop and manage economic justice communication strategies and activities according to Oxfams procedures; represent the programme to external actors, as appropriate. Climate Change Project Officer (fixed term until Nov 2014) Reference INT5703 s/he will support the Advocacy, Campaigns and Communications Programme Coordinator in the development and delivery of Oxfams climate change advocacy agenda particularly on renewable energy and take responsibility in implementing the same. Key responsibilities include: support the development of the renewable energy strategy of Oxfam and integrate it in our sustainable livelihoods work; lead in the implementation of the planned renewable energy project activities; build alliances and collaborative ways of working; manage relationships with partners, alliances and key stakeholders; maintain project documentation in Oxfams Programme Accountability and Learning (OPAL); manage grants to partners and ensuring compliance with Oxfams mandatory procedures on appraisal, partner selection, monitoring, reporting and project closures; develop and maintain good donor engagements through the development of funding proposals and the production of clear and quality reports.
