First Internship Reflection Paper

First Internship Reflection Paper This first part of the internship has been challenging. I have experienced a very smooth but busy beginning of the school year. Juggling work and this internship has been interesting, but not impossible. The school year has settled and is steadying on course so I will be able to dedicate more time to this project. I have started by thinking about what I want to do. I spoke with a colleague that teaches the professional development class that I will be developing an online class. The subject is Classroom Management. He gave me the PowerPoint presentation he used and has allowed me to modify it as necessary to fit an online environment. Since he has taught this course several times in the past, I will talk to him about possibly narrating the presentation for the online class. I know he will be willing to work with me in the development of this portion of the class. Thus far I have begun reviewing the presentation. I have also started researching some worksheets that determine the type of classroom management style a teacher may have. There are several different ones online, so I am going through some of them to either provide a link to one of these or get some ideas and develop one myself. I have discovered this is going to a challenging, fun, and interesting project. I have already gained a greater appreciation for the work that goes into developing an effective online course
