Cupcake Box

Supplies: Stamps: Birthday Bash Sentiments (Papertrey Ink) Ink: Daffodil Delight Classic ink (Stampin Up!); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Paper: Whisper White CS, Chocolate Chip CS, Red Glimmer paper (Stampin Up!); Lemon Tart (Papertrey Ink) Accessories: Nestabilities Standard Circles, Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles (Spellbinders); paper snips, Stamping Sponge, Big Shot, crimper, 1/16 handheld circle punch, bone folder, Scallop edge border punch, 1 circle punch, mini glue dots, Tombow multi-purpose liquid adhesive (Stampin Up!), Bellas Baubles (Stamping Bella); Acrylic graph ruler (Martha Stewart); white button thread (Papertrey ink) Dimensions: Lemon Tart CS: two 8 x 11 sheets Chocolate Chip CS: one 8 x 11 sheet Red Glimmer CS: a scrap Whisper White CS: a scrap Real Red satin ribbon: a 12 piece Directions: 1. Print out both sides of the box template onto the two sheets of Lemon Tart CS, and print out the cupcake wrapper onto a sheet of Chocolate Chip CS. Make sure that when printing out this template you set the page scaling to none. 2. Cut the templates out along the solid lines. 3. Sponge the top of both Lemon Tart box pieces with Daffodil Delight Classic ink and a wedge of a stamping sponge. 4. Use an acrylic graph ruler and bone folder to score along the dotted lines. Crease along the score lines using your bone folder. 5. Punch three circles out of the Red Glimmer paper using the 1 circle punch. Stick a circle to each of the top circular pieces of the cupcake box. Trim the circles following the lines of the template piece (see video for clarification) 6. Assemble the two sides of the box as directed in the video. 7. Crimp the two cupcake wrapper pieces and then assemble them as directed in the video. 8. Place some Tombow liquid adhesive on all sides of the cupcake box base and then slide it into the cupcake wrapper to stick the two pieces together. 9. Decorate the top of the box using some Bellas Baubles and mini glue dots. Alternately you can use brads, or dab on Crystal effects and add some glitter. 10. Die cut a 1 scalloped circle out of Red Glimmer paper using the standard scalloped circle Nestabilities and your Big Shot. Die cut a 1 circle out of Whisper White CS using the standard circle Nestabilities and your Big Shot. 11. Stamp the greeting on the Whisper White CS circle in black ink. Center and stick the greeting circle to the scalloped circle using Tombow liquid glue. 12. Punch a hole at the top of the matted greeting. Insert a 10 piece of button thread and tie it in a knot to create a tag. 13. Thread the tag over a bow created out of a 12 piece of Real Red satin ribbon. Stick the bow to the box base with a mini glue dot. Youre done! Please note that this handout is intended as an accompaniment to the Cupcake Box video.
