Ahmed Ali Sarder

Born: He was born in1910 in the Raipur village, Jessore. Education: He studied up to class ten in Jassore Jila School. His Asset: In 1970, he had a total investment of more than a core. Achievements:

In 1945/46, he was one of the two first class contractors in Bangladesh. He established Concrete Construction Co. in 1952. TSC of the Dhaka University was his beautiful construction.

Al-Haz Abdul Ghani Sarder

Born: 1953, Noapara, Khulna Age: 53 Education: H.S.C level. Achievements: Starting with a capital of Taka 10000 in 1984, a young man of Noapara has become a business tycoon in the Southern part of Bangladesh. He started his journey in the business arena with a Rice trading business. And today he is the proud owner of a diversified business portfolio consisting of 8 business ventures and the Chairman of GOLDEN Group.

Syed Abdullah Ayub

Born: 18th May, 1957 Khulna. Education: Syed Abdullah Ayub studied up to H.S.C. level. He passed S.S.C. in 1973 from Naihati School and H.S.C. in 1975 from Bangobandhu College. He started studying Degree but did not continue because of business. He did not have any training before starting business.

Achievement: Today Country Lounge and Burger King are the two popular names in restaurant sector of Khulna city. But very few of us know Syed Abdullah Ayub, the man behind the scene of these two successful ventures.

Mr. Ragib Ali

Mr Ragib Ali is a leading industrialist, tea-planter, and is also associated with bank, Stock exchange, insurance companies, and many other business houses. Born in 1938 in Bishawanath, Sylhet in Bangladesh, Mr Ali was educated there before moving to the UK in 1956. Mr Ali studied at the Raza G.C High School and College of Sylhet before moving to the UK at the age of 18 to further his education. However, once in the UK through hard work and perseverance, Mr Ali transformed himself from an ordinary waiter to a leading entrepreneur. Mr Ali is the current Chairman of Sylhet Tea Company Ltd and several other tea estates in Sylhet and Chittagong. He is also the Managing Director of Kohinoor Industries Ltd. and TLRA Holdings Ltd and has served as Chairman of South-East Bank Limited.

Mr. Jahurul Islam

Jahurul Islam was one of those who have been discussed very frequently in the history of Business and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. He was born in Bhagalpur, Kishoregonj district. In 1945, he passed matriculation from Ripon High School. Later, he went to Bardwan, where he studied I.A but he failed to pass in the final examination. In 1948, he appeared again from Haraganga College at Munshiganj. This time also he failed which brought the end of his formal education. He established Bengal Development Corporation Ltd and Islam Group of Industries, Some of his other establishments are: Eastern Housing Ltd, Navana Ltd. In these establishments he had almost one hundred crore taka worth of investment.
