WHAT, I MAY WRITE ?

Once again the world is in turmoil people getting killed, ambassadors being burned alive. Protests, water cannons, marches consisting millions of men all due to a video/film/piece of crap titled "innocence of Muslims." My friends and family have asked me to write something regarding this terrible incident. But for 4 days straight and even now I don't know what to write? All of my so called intellect my so called knowledge, my endless hours of study and thought fail to answer a single question i.e., "What I, may write?" As Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal once wrote in honor of His Excellence Fakar-e-majudat wajah-e-Wajood-e-Kainat Hazoor

Nabi-e-Akram Sallah-ho-alihai Wasalum

"Loh bhi tu kalam bhi tu tera wajood Al-Kitab"

"Thy are the scrolls of destiny, Thy is the pen of writing it, Your presence is the Holy Book of Koran"
But I believe breaking somebody's heart and refusing anybody's rightful request are as hideous of sins as they come so here it is. I don't want to give a 25 min lecture on what to do and what not to do if an offence like this, may happen. And most definitely I wont start the debate that whether only Muslims can commit blasphemy or not. Should there be changes in the blasphemy law or not? And finally I am afraid I won't be giving the verdict that either Taseer deserved death or Qadri deserves freedom. I would like to shed some light on the fact that: The acts distributed from, queen of England knighting Rushdie to Pope Benedict giving statements of utter offense from Denmarks Cartoonists to Bangladeshi Suriya Nasreen and definitely from French newspapers to American filmmakers. All of these have done something too hideous to remember and to grotesque to remind. But these are not the only non-Muslims in the world. There are few with eyes as well as aesthetics from Mahatma Gandhi to Golda Maire, The extracts from books of Micheal H. Hart to Karen Armstrong and definitely from views of K.L. Gauba to Martin Lings. I have chosen few of such lines written by Kunwar Mahendra Singh Bedi (direct 16th descendant of Guru Nanak, Creator of Sikhism religion):

Hum kissi deen main hon kayal-e-kirdar tu hain

We may belong to any religion yet we are appreciators of character

Hum sana khan-e-Shah-e-Haider-e-Karar tu hain

We are singing of glory of king of all valors

Naam lewa tu hain Muhammad (SAW) k paristar tu hain

We take the name of His Grace as we worship him

Yani majboor peh-e-ahmed-e-Mukhtar tu hain

We are forced to accept Him as Master of all

Ishq ho jaye kissi se koi chara tu nahi

One call fall in love with anyone, there is no constraint on that

Muslim ka Muhammad (SAW) pe Ijara tu nahi

Muslims don't have a monopoly on His Grace "MUHAMMAD" (SAW)

Note: The above is the most feeblest of attempts presented in the feet of His Excellence Fakar-e-majudat wajah-e-Wajoode-Kainat Hazoor Nabi-e-Akram Sallah-ho-alihai Wasalum ! By The Humblest of servants, Muhammad Sarmad Hafeez
