NEW DATE for SACRAMENTS CLASS FOR ADULTS: Oct 8

NEW DATE: October 8. This course, offered in English, is for (1) baptized Catholic adults who would like to receive their First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation, for (2) non-Catholic adults who are interested in the Catholic faith and for (3) any Catholic who would like to deepen his/or understanding of the Catholic faith. These classes start on MONDAY, OCTOBER 8, 7:30pm in the church hall. No need to pre-register, just show up!

Algunos dirn que sto tcnicamente no es donar fondos en impuestos para abortos porque el recargo requerido ser un pago de prima ms bien que un dicho pago en impuestos. In order for Holy Innocents to stay afloat financially, we need a minimum weekly collection of $6,500. We are asking parishioners to consider setting aside 1 hour of their work week to pray for their parish and to give at least that hours wage to support their parish. As you can see from the table above, people are beginning to respond to this appeal and we are grateful. If you want to see Holy Innocents to continue to serve this community as it has for near 90 years, PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY TO YOUR PARISH.

Under this Act [the so-called Affordable Health Care Act], millions of American taxpayers will be forced to help support abortion coverage, in two ways: (1) Through their tax dollars all taxpayers will be forced to subsidize overall health plans that cover elective abortions, contrary to the policy of the Hyde amendment and every other major federal program, and (2) Many of these Americans will also be forced to pay directly for other people's abortions. The celebration begins SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21 at the 11am Mass in the school hall. After the Mass the festivities continue with praise and worship, good food and joyful songs. El Shaddai wants everyone to know that their presence at this celebration is most warmly welcomed!

RETIROS para JOVENES RETREATS for TEENS

Holy Innocents announces 2 retreats for high school age youths. These retreats are held here at Holy Innocents. Friday, 6pm to 10pm; Saturday, 8am to 10pm; Sunday, 8am to 12noon. The cost of the retreat is only $10. The BOYS RETREAT will be October 12, 13 & 14. The GIRLS RETREAT will be October 26, 27 & 28. To register for the retreat, go to the rectory office Monday through Saturday, from 9am to 3pm and Sundays, 10am to 2pm. Register NOW because there is limited space.

Un sacerdote los podr casar una vez que cumplan los requisitos y sin que tengan que dar donativo por la ceremonia. Estn invitados a asistir a un curso de preparacin que comenzar ... LUNES, NOVIEMBRE 5 a las 7pm (2500 Pacific Ave) Habr 4 sesiones en total. Al llegar les explicarn los requisitos y el trmite que podr culminar con la boda-matrimonio por la Iglesia Catlica.
