IMA`s EXCELLENCE AWARD 2012 - for Leadership Development CIM is grateful to our Lord Almighty and thankful to India

Missions Association (IMA - The national federation of missions in India) for awarding Christian Institute of Management the Annual Excellence Award for the year 2012 in recognition of its services to the Indian Missions and Churches in the area of Leadership Development on 22nd September, at the IMA National Leadership Conference 2012, Hyderabad.

Management & Leadership Seminar: CIM seminar at Bhubaneswar (Orissa) from 18th - 20th September. 20 leaders from across the Nation were present for the 3 days program. Resource Persons: Mr. B.D. Das (Advocate & Legal Consultant), Rev. Sudipta Nanda (National Director - National Fellowship) and Prof S.D. Jeyakumar (Director, Organisation Development - CIM).

Partnership Seminar: One-day Management workshop for the Presbyters, Pastorate Secretaries and Treasurers of the Church of South India (CSI) - Diocese of Vellore (Tamil Nadu) on 10th September in Vellore. Mr. John Ravindran (Charted Accountant) was the resource person. 65 church leaders were trained in the areas of Handing Church Finance, Legal

matters concerning the Church, latest legislative changes in FCRA, Income Tax and TDS etc... Rt. Rev. Dr. A. Rajavelu - Bishop of CSI Vellore Diocese and the office bearers were present throughout the training program appreciating the CIM services and the service rendered to the Diocese. They invited us to conduct more such training programs for the Diocese in the days to come.

35 pastors and Mission Leaders attended the Management workshop which was held on 27th and 28th September at The Baptist Hospital, Tezpur (Assam). Prof. S D Jeyakumar as the Resource Person. Grass-root Training Program was held on 21st and 22nd September at Vizag (Andhra Pradesh) and 15 pastors participated. Prof S D Jeyakumar was the Resource Person for this program. Upcoming program: CIM Management and Leadership Seminar from 9th 11th October, 2012 at New Delhi. Partnership Seminar from 16th 18th October for Maranatha Church, Madurai (Tamil Nadu). Enrollment is going on for the Master of Christian Management (MCM) and Diploma in Christian Management (DCM) courses (http://cimindia.in/management_crses_intro.htm) Board of Studies meeting was held on 29th September and finalized the concept paper on Modular Courses. Each module would be a standalone course of three months duration on specific areas of Management. The first two modules would be introduced in April 2013. The module Formation, Management and Development of Christian Organization would be developed by Mr. C Julius Sathiaseelan (Former Group Director- Corporate Solutions, World Vision, Chennai) and the module Finance Management and Stewardship would be developed by Ms. Manju George Charted Accountant (Partner, RK Khanna Associates, Bangalore). We received the answer sheets of Semester II & IV Examinations of M.A. in

Christian Management and the same is sent for evaluation. Coaching Classes for Semester III would be held in CNI Bhawan, New Delhi from 16 th - 19th October 2012 and Semester I Coaching Class would be held in Caruna Bal Vikas, Chennai from 26 th -30th November 2012.
