INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

Before submitting the application, the candidates are advised to satisfy themselves that the eligibility conditions that are laid down by the university to appear for the examination are fulfilled. Any application not accompanied by the prescribed fee shall not be entertained. Change of Examination Centre, once registered will not be entertained under any circumstances. Filled in application should be submitted to the Controller of Examinations, TNOU, 577 Annasalai, Saidapet, Chennai 600015, with necessary fee before the last date as prescribed by the University. No change of address shall be carried out once the application is registered at TNOU. Students who are studying in the final semester / year should compulsorily pay the fee for Provisional Certificate. The current course code refers to the courses to be completed within the prescribed time limit. The arrear course code refers to whatever courses that are incomplete in the previous examination. The name of Examination Centre will be informed to the candidates through hall ticket. The students can also view and take the print out of hall ticket one week before commencement from the date of exam in website: www.tnou.ac.in. The Student of First appearance should pay Examination fees for all the courses for the particular Semester or Year. Irrespective of number of papers, the individual appearing for. The Students are advised to calculate the Examination fees correctly as indicated in the Instruction to the Candidates and take the Challan / Demand Draft appropriately according to the programme and courses in which they are appearing for the Examination. Students are advised to keep the Photocopies of the Examination application and Demand Draft before dispatching to University. Photocopies of the form may be used for each Term End Examination. The Students have to submit all the required assignments to the concerned study centre before the submission of the Examination application form.
