Submitted a research paper for review and publication in a journal. Sea water analysis of Overhead condensers of Fuel Refinery(FR) unit Survey of Desulphurization of Diesel and evaluation of Furnace efficiency. Gave long term solutions and proposed a desalination unit to optimize the yield. Steam Optimization in Lamina and stem processing of tobacco. Minimized steam loss based on calculation of consumption of steam on a daily basis and crosschecking it with actual consumption. Suggested an action plan for minimizing steam loss.

Applied neural network in Wastewater Treatment processes to increase the overall efficiency. Conducted lab experiments for application of Fenton Reagent in reduction of COD level. Practically treated waste materials and dealt with removal of impurities in biomass residues. Simulated the entire process in MATLAB. Researched on Wastewater treatment methods and developing a device for economic testing and reduction of COD level. Controlled switching on/off of tube light and fan depending on human presence using concepts of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network. Varied the intensity of light and speed of fan depending on various factor such as room temperature, humidity, ambient light required. Wrote two term papers on1. Application of Fuzzy Control System in a Desalination Plant. (2010) -Trained the model for biomass using hybrid neural network and multilayer feed forward neural network system. 2. Analysis of gasified products of Biomass using Neural Networks. (2010) -Optimized the cost of plant and applied tools of soft computing to enhance the profit. Secured All India Rank-1743 in IIT-JEE 2008 (99.75 percentile) and State Rank-136 in UPSEAT 2008 (99.8 percentile) Awarded Merit Certificate in Maths quiz in International Youth Mathematics Convention 2004. Started educational periodical, POZIOM, for successfully providing career related information to students across India. Spread awareness about the merits of Non Smoking Chulha in 5 villages and designed a smoke-free Chulha. (based on Anagi Chulhas used in Sri Lanka) Finalist, Business plan competition, Kshitij-2011, IIT Kharagpur. Member of inter-hall Silver winning English dramatics team, 2010 and Silver winning Open IIT English dramatics team, 2009. Won Gold in inter hall weight-lifting competition 2010-11, IIT Kharagpur.
