Pack tomatoes tightly in the jar Fill jar with brine. Leave no bubbles in jar Do not screw lid tight until the tomatoes quit working Ready in 2 weeks

Ingredients: Hard small green tomatoes, Choose small hard green tomatoes, wash and cut largest ones in half 1 c. pickling salt 2 cloves garlic, sliced per jar 1 tsp pickling spices 1 dill flower per jar Brine: Approx 1 c. salt to 6-7 cups cold water. Brine is strong enough as soon as an egg will float in it. Preparation: Put 1 dill flower in bottom of jar Pack jars with tomatoes Sliver 1 or 2 cloves garlic in each jar Add 1 tsp pickling spices Cover jars loosely for first few days so jars can drip a little Put in cool dark place Close tightly after five days Ready in 2 weeks
