A Treacherous Day in My School.

My school, Methodist English School, is situated in a small town named Tanjung Malim of the state, Perak Darul Ridzuan. It was actually a small house which was given to the school authority and was transformed by them into Methodist English School. My school brought up many amazing, hardworking and bright students and the principles of my school are the best. It was the week of our mid-term test. The sun was shining as bright as it could; it was a nice weather to do our test peacefully. The birds were chirping with their delighting voice. The trees were swaying in the soft wind as if they were saying Hello...to me, I was enjoying the peaceful and calm weather. After three days of the wonderful weather, came a day which was the last day of our mid-term exam. On that very day, the sun hid his shining face behind the dark stormy clouds. The day was so dark. The birds flew off as fast as a horse to their nest and cuddled up each of their chicks. The trees were swaying left and right like a bull fight in the hands of the strong evil wind. It was half past two; still the bright sun did not show his shining face. All of the sudden, a sound of a dreadful thunder shivered the life out of everyone. It continued with lighting like serpents let loose in the sky. It rained cats and dogs on everyone. The field was wet, the corridor was wet, and even the teachers room was flooded with the cold rain water. The doors were slamming each other like the fighting of two male elephants. The rain water was pouring through every open place, everyone panicked, and our exam papers got wet. Everyone was trying to save their exam papers from getting wet. At last, we were ordered to

set the tables nearby to each other. Water was entering, doors were slamming, lightning and thunder so loud and scary. It did not stop. It keeps on getting from worse to worst. Everyone was very scared; they thought they might never get to go home. Then, the rain slowed down and the dreadful thunder and lightning soon stopped. Everyone went out for recess; we were all relieved after recess. After recess, on our way back to our class, the mighty rain started again. We rushed into our classrooms and sat there, waiting for our exam paper and also for the rain to stop. It continued and continued. It was half past six, time for us to go back to our home. Luckily, when the teachers were sending us out after finishing the last test, the rain stopped and the bright sun showed his face once again. We were relieved that no one got hurt or did any exam papers get wet and soggy. Everyone went home and hoped that this kind of weather does not come again.
