Program
Day 1: November 19, 2012 (Monday)
Date & Time 9:00 - 9.15am Activity Opening Program (Invocation, Pambansang Awit) Opening Remarks (Edwin Eusebio, MinTVET President) Keynote Message (Elmer Talavera, Director, CACO TESDA Taguig City)
Rationale
Trainers and Assessors play a salient role in the delivery of training programs. Without them, the program will not run and hence, the TVI will not be able to fulfil its role as a partner in developing people. To date, however, there are no existing platforms by which these trainers and assessors will be massively engaged on issues that affect the industry. Often, trainers and assessors are left on their own, usually working with their respective administrators, to be able to address their concerns. As part of the Mindanao TVET Association roadmap, the board recognizes the importance of continuously enabling and equipping these trainers and assessors of the different TVIs to remain relevant for the industry.
