Leah Grundset Davis Calvary Ringers

This is the day the Lord has made! Let us give thanks for our ancestors in the faith who have made this day of gathering with Gods people a reality; for our brothers and sisters in the faith who walk beside us to help find the possibilities of faith today; for our ancestors in the faith whose experience in Gods providential care moved them toward trust in Gods steadfast love; for our brothers and sisters in the faith who are journeying with us toward Gods new mercies every morning; for our ancestors in the faith who began telling the story of Gods extravagant love for us through Jesus Christ; for our brothers and sisters in the faith who listen to us tell of the hope and joy we know in Christ who lives among us! Let us live as stewards of both sacred past and promised future, giving thanks for the lives of these saints: Flora Alexander Martyle (Marty) Auman Juanita R. CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE

MAKE US ONE

Make Us One

Make us one, Lord, make us one; Holy Spirit, make us one. Let your love flow so the world will know we are one in you. A TIME WITH CHILDREN MUSICAL MEDITATION Amy Butler Ihr habt nun Traurigkeit from Ein deutsches Requiem Brahms Natalie Barrens-Rogers, Soprano Sanctuary Choir

You now have sorrow; but I want to see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no one shall take your joy from you. Look upon me: I have toiled and labored a brief time, and now I have found great comfort. I want to comfort you, as one is comforted by his mother. John 16: 22, Isaiah 66: 13)

LIVING THE WORD OF GOD

HEBREW LESSON, P. 568 PSALTER Isaiah 25: 6 - 9 Edgar Palacios Psalm 8, Paraphrased
FOREST GREEN

O Lord our God, in all the earth your great Name is extolled. Your majesty is far beyond what heavn itself can hold. You have ordained that childrens lips should praise your Name today, that all your enemies and foes should have no more to say. When I look up and see the moon and stars in heavn above, Lord, why should you remember us and visit us in love? Yet you have made us only less in honor and renown than all the heavnly hosts above. You set on us a crown. All sheep and oxen, beasts and birds, we rule in your great Name. O Lord our God, in all the world your glory we proclaim. All glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit be; as from the first it was, is now, and for eternity. EPISTLE LESSON, P. 1007 GOSPEL ACCLAMATION Revelation 21: 1 - 6a Leah Grundset Davis Alleluia Jacques Berthier (1923 - 1994) Natalie Barrens-Rogers, Cantor
