4- Why should bad books be destroyed?

The bad and useless old books must be destroyed because rereading of such books is useless. On the one hand, they cannot be kept in the library as reference books and on the other hand, they occupy space in home. If worthless books would be destroyed, space for new & better books would be made. So, bad books must be destroyed. 5- Why is it difficult to destroy books? It is very difficult to destroy books because no one buys a second-hand edition, They cannot be burnt in kitchen stove or study fire. They cannot be thrown on streets. Then, people develop sentimental attachment with books. When one sits to select to destroy books, in spite of destroying books, one starts reading them. In short, it becomes very difficult to destroy books for a person who loves books and has bought books with his own money. 6- How did the writer muster up courage at last to fling his books into the river? How did he muster up courage finally to throw them in the water? When he found that nobody was watching him carrying the sack to the river he gradually recovered his senses. He was ashamed that he was behaving like a coward. The doctor advises him to take one pound beefsteak with one point bitter beer after every six hours. He should have a ten mile walk daily in the morning and go to bed at eleven in the night. Without having a look at the prescription of the doctor, the writer went to a chemist for medicine but the chemist returned him the prescription and told that there was no drug mentioned in that. The writer then read the prescription himself and found that there were direction of his doctor to walk and exercise, take full sleep, good food and a suggestion not to think about things he could not understand. The author acted upon the advice of the doctor and as a result of this, he was once again very happy and healthy with a short period. So all the fears of the author were removed and he is still living fresh and fine. 6- What is the significance of the doctors advice "Dont stuff your head with the things you dont understand"? The advice of the doctor has great significance as it says that little knowledge is very dangerous. If one does not know something fully, he can not understand something properly; he can take the meanings of something wrong might create new problem for himself. Particularly, in case of health and medicine, self-medication can be very harmful and can bring dire consequences. As it happened with the writer that he misunderstood the meaning of the book of pharmacology & started believing that, he was suffering from all the diseases except one. It was mainly because he could not get the real meanings of the terms of medicine. Thus, one shall avoid interrupting in things, which are not his field. But he must go for the specialist of that field. 7-What was the disease he discovered he did not have? Which disease the writer did not have? In this short story, the writer tells his readers that if we are not expert of a field, we shall not interfere in that field and shall take the services of specialists of that field. 12- How did the writer learn that he was suffering from more than one disease?
