IIT Roorkee Survey Camp (5 December 2011- 14 December 2011) Prepared a map of a portion of Chandi Ghat Area, at the Banks of the River Ganges, near Haridwar. The map was at a scale of 1:2000. We used various modern instruments, viz., total station, GPS, as well as Theodolite and plane table. We used our basic knowledge of principles of surveying and combined it with the modern surveying techniques to prepare topographical map of the area.
