How to Bypass Rapidshare Download Limit

Rapidshare traces the users IP address to limit each user to a certain amount of downloading per day. To
get around this, you need to show the rapidshare server a different IP address.

Here are some methods for doing this:

1. Short-Out the JavaScript:

1. Goto the page you want to download
2. Select FREE button
3. In the address bar put the following: javascript:alert(c=0)
4. Click OK
5. Click OK to the pop-up box
6. Enter the captcha
7. Download Your File

2. Request a new IP address from your ISP server.

Here's how to do it in windows:
1. Click Start
2. Click run
3. In the run box type cmd.exe and click OK
4. When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

5. Erase your cookies in whatever browser you are using.

6. Try the rapidshare download again.

Frequently you will be assigned a new IP address when this happens. Sometime you will,
sometimes you will not. If you are on a fixed IP address, this method will not work. To be
honest, I do not know how to do this in linux/unix/etc. If this works for you, you may want to
save the above commands into a batch file, and just run it when you need it.

3. Use a proxy with SwitchProxy and Firefox:

1. Download and install Firefox if you have not already
2. Download and install SwitchProxy
3. Google for free proxies
4. When you hit your download limit, clean your cookies and change your proxy

4. Use an anonymous service:

 Running your system through the tor network should in theory work; however, it is difficult to
use and setup. Plus, you allow others to run their evil deeds through your system as well by
using this system. Anonymizer 2005 is inexpensive, easy to use, but not free. Other pay services
would likely work as well.

5. You can use a bookmarklet to stop your wait times:

1. Open IE
2. Right Click On This Link
3. Select Add to Favorites
4. Select Yes to the warning that the bookmark may be unsafe.
5. Name it "RapidShare No Wait"
6. Click on the Links folder (if you want to display it in your IE toolbar)
7. Click OK
8. You may need to close and reopen IE to see it
9. Goto rapidshare and click the bookmarklet when you are forced to wait

How to bypass web filters

There are several occasions where you will be at a public terminal
, and require access to a particular website that is blocked for some reason or another. How to bypass
these restrictions is a very common question, and will be covered here.

Lets pretend for a moment that the Internet is made up of 26 websites, A-Z. The web filter blocks your
browser from accessing sites X-Z, but not sites A-W. Simply make the browser think you’re going to
A-
W. There are a variety of ways to do this:

Proxy Servers:
This is a list of http proxies. These sites may not be up forever, so you may need to search for “free http
proxy” or “public proxy servers” or other similar terms.

Proxy server lists:

• http://www.aliveproxy.com
• http://www.multiproxy.org
• http://www.publicproxyservers.com/index.html
• http://www.tehbox.com/proxy
• http://www.proxz.com
• http://www.proxy4free.com/index.html
• http://free-proxies.com

Now that you have a list of proxies, you would open IE (internet explorer) and click on Tools > Internet
Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Advanced. Enter the address and port of one of the servers
from the list in the proper area (http) and make sure the “use a proxy server for your LAN” option is
selected. Remember to replace the proxy and port at your terminal to the original when you're done.
*Note: Some proxies listed may not work, and this method may decrease your surfing speed. By trying
various entries, you’ll find one that works, or works faster.

The infamous translation trick:

Go to a web page translation site and use their services to “translate a page to English” thus accessing
the blocked page through their trusted site.

You’ll notice that several translation sites are blocked, but by using less popular ones, this method can
still be effective. Here is a list of some translation services. Again, these sites may not be up forever, so
you may need to search for them.

Url Scripting:

Url scripting is the easiest method. It works on a select few web filters and is based on the same
principal as the translation trick. By typing and address like
“www.yahoo.com@www.restricted_site.com the filter will not go into effect as it recognizes the trusted
site (in this case yahoo.com)

Other tricks:
Simply open the command prompt and type:
Ping restricted.com ? restricted.com obviously being the restricted site
At this point you can take down the IP address (ex. 216.109.124.73) and enter it into the browser. If
access to the command prompt is also restricted, see “How to bypass restrictions to get to the command
prompt.” If this article has been taken from information leak, then know that it involves anything from
opening the browser, selecting view > source, then saving it as X.bat and opening it to opening a folder
or browser and typing in the location of cmd.exe depending on the OS. I will not go into further, as this
a completely different topic.

Use https://restrictedsite.com as referring to it as a secured site may confuse the filter.

Note: These are ancient methods that many new filters defend against, but still may be applicable in
your situation. If not, a little history never hurt anyone.

Web based Proxies:

Another one of the easier, yet effective methods include web based proxies. These are simple in the fact
that you just enter the restricted address and surf! Some of these have some restrictions, like daily
usage limits, etc but you can also use another proxy (perhaps one that sucks, like a text only) to bypass
their restrictions as well. Here is a list of some:

Proxy Programs:
There are many proxy programs that allow you to surf anonymously that are more or less based on the
same topics we’ve covered here.

Here's a working USA Transparent proxy server address, just tested after getting the 72 minute
notification: 63.214.136.151:3128
Put it in FF Tools/Options/Advanced/Settings. It will probably work for a day or two.
Note: The numbers after the colon: 3128, go in the Port field. The colon is NOT used in the HTTP
Proxy field.
Use a USA Transparent proxy server to connect to Megavideo, Supernovatube, etc. if your country is
blocked.

Here's where to put the proxy server address in FF.

Proxy Servers - Basics

1. There are many "proxy lists" on the web, and many misrepresent their level of privacy. Some proxy
servers are actually "transparent," though they are listed as "anonymous."
The best proxy server list I've found so far is NNTime.
2. Always check the IP of your intended proxy on a service like: DCS Proxy Checker before putting it
into your browser settings and connecting to the desired site. You'll find that many "time out," meaning
they are too slow to be of any use, or they don't work. Choose a proxy server that is located in a
country that is permitted access to the content on that website. For example, if you want to watch
videos on the BBC using the BBC iPlayer, choose a proxy server from the United Kingdom. I've had
better luck with a "transparent" proxy server on that site rather than an "anonymous" one.
3. You can easily check your IP before you use a proxy, and after you connect to a proxy by using:

4. You can try a Web proxy, like the ones listed HERE at Proxy.org, but I've had better luck with
regular proxy servers.
5. I've had better luck using non-CoDeeN proxy servers so far.
6. You don't require any special software to connect to a proxy server. Find a working proxy server as
described above.

Step 2.
Now choose an IP address and port from this list. In this tutorial I have chosen IP: 195.175.37.6 and
port: 8080. You can choose whatever you like.

Step 3.
Open Firefox and in the menu choose Tools and then Options.This will open the Firefox Options

window. Click on Advance Options.

Step 4.
Click on Network tab and the click Settings button under Connection.

Step 5.
In Connection Settings window, click Manual proxy configuration. Now enter the IP address in HTTP
Proxy and Port address in Port. ( In this example HTTP Proxy address is 195.175.37.6 and Port is
8080).
Also check the box 'Use this proxy server for all protocols'.

Click ok and your IP is set to desired Proxy.

You can use any online service to check your IP. Like Check Ip is a site solely dedicated for this
purpose.
Megavideo

If Megavideo download link is http://www.megavideo.com/?XXXXXXX

Then replace the URL to the following format:

http://anonym.to/?http://www.megavideo.com/?XXXXXXX

Alternatively, use any anonymous surfing service such as Anonymouse or Guardster free web proxy to
bypass the Megavideo download limit. Steps to use Guardster to bypass Megavideo Country limit are:

1. Go to the following site: http://www.guardster.com/subscription/proxy_free.php

2. Input the Megavideo download link in the Address text box. (where you will see http:// in the box)
3. Uncheck (Unselect) all the options, like No Cookies, No Scripts, No Images, Hide Referrer, Hide
User Agent, Hide Title, Hide Header.
4. Click on the button "I agree an wish to surf anonymously".

- Another workaround for Megavideo slots limit is by using Google Language Tool translation
capability.

1. Go to Google Language Tool, and scroll to Translate section. Or you can go direct to Google
Translate.
2. Input Megavideo download link into the tex box (where you can see http://) below the "Translate a
web page:".
3. For "from" option, the default (depending on your Google interface) English to German will do the
trick, although other options will likely to allow the hack too.
4. Click on the "Translate" after the language option, and wait for the Megavideo download page to
load, which allows you to start downloading immediately without the limitation by download limit per
country.

- Another way (that i am using and its the best ) . Get RealPlayer the free version here
http://www.realplayer.com/ and ull be able to Download videos from thousands websites even
megavideo supernova..etc.

- Another way These are not guarenteed to work for everyone (it depends on your ISP etc).

Firstly clear your browsers cookies, next block all cookies coming from megavideo.com:
Go to: Tools > Options (in firefox)

Then click "Exceptions" and block "megavideo.com" & "www.megavideo.com" (without quotes)
