RAID Iberlinx, as its own name implies, is a military activity simulating a real RAID (infiltration-exfiltration) in enemy territory. Participants, formed in 4 people teams, will have to cover a distance of around 15-20 Km with the help of map and compass choosing the most convenient path and covering a number of waypoints where they will afford military tests as grenade throwing, rappel, shooting, air soft combat, casualties rescue, identification of vehicles or weapons, mine field crossing, etc . Besides, they will subject to surprise activities or emergency response as part of the more complete simulation of a real RAID. PARTICIPANTS: - Members from the Senior Soldiers Associations of the Spanish Armed Forces - Veterans from the Portuguese Armed Forces - Spanish Reservists and Reservists from other foreign armies - Active members from different European armies and members from the European National Security Forces DOCUMENTATION: - Spanish Reservists: TIM, certificate of having completed the pre-trial phase. - Foreign Reservists: Certificate of belonging to a European Military Unit or a recognized reservist association by AESOR or CIOR (except for Portuguese reservists) - Veterans: Certificate of Approval issued by their Association or their Unit - In ALL cases: ID and medical assistance insurance ACCOMODATION: Will be provided by the Organisation free of charge for participants in Camping or Youth Hostel style lodge. Families and accompanying people can find accommodation in hotels of different levels. The Organisation can help on that TRAVELING AND ARRIVAL: Will be responsibility of participants to arrive to Almendralejo (South West Spain) on time for start. The Organisation can help looking for the easiest and cheapest way to travel. Nearest International airports are: Madrid, Lisboa. Nearest National airport: Badajoz There are good roads and cheap rented car available in most of the rent-acar companies

RAID TIMETABLE: Friday 15th 19:00: Reception of participants, first accommodation and instructions 20:00: Opening ceremony 21:00: Dinner 22:30: Breefing Saturday 16th Activities can start at any time without previous warning 19:00: End of the activity 21:00: Dinner and active fraternization Sunday 107h 08:00: Reveille 08:30: Traditional Spanish style breakfast 10:00: Participant training and rehearse of the ceremony. 12:30: Closing ceremony 13:00: Spanish wine tasting 14:30: Dislocation Fee: 50 euros per person including accommodation and meals from Friday evening until Sunday morning REGISTRATIONS: interested people will receive a registration form and details by e-mail Note: The organization reserves the right not to accept requests which does not suit to those profiles required MATERIAL. - The organization will keep all the necessary material for the development of the events: ropes and harnesses, bows and arrows, vehicles for support, link radios between different control areas and ambulances or medical assistance PERSONAL EQUIPMENT. Considering the Raid Iberlinx as an infiltration military activity, all participants would have to bring a sleeping bag, combat uniform of their own unit, (personal boots are allowed), and a small rucksack with elements they can consider convenient for the activity: Canteen, cutlery, extra dry and warm clothes, swim dress, towel, gloves for rappelling, night torch, paper, pencil and a rain garments, first aid kit, etc The organization will provide a topographical map of the area but every team must bring their own compass. GPS devices are not allowed USE OF UNIFORMS.
