Freshman Requirements:
Students who graduate from state-approved high schools must complete an academic core curriculum, achieve ACT subscores of 19 Math (460 SAT) and 18 English (450 SAT),

1. Fill out our online application
a. Visit www.uno.edu/admissions to apply today! a. If you choose not to pay the application fee using the UNO online application, you can submit payment information online on the Admissions site or in person. a. In-state studentsplease include your social security number (SSN) when filling out your application. This will allow us to receive your transcripts automatically from the State of Louisiana. b. Out-of-State studentsplease have your high school submit official transcripts to the Office of Admissions by mail. i. Include both completed and in-progress coursework. a. Request for your ACT and/or SAT scores to be sent directly from the testing services.

2. Submit your $50 application fee payment

And have one of the following: 1. ACT composite score of 23 or greater (SAT 1060) 2. High school core GPA of 2.5 or greater
*Students with less than a 2.0 will not be admitted

3. Submit official high school transcripts

Who do not meet the core curriculum must satisfy requirements 1 and 2 or have an ACT composite score of 26 or greater (SAT 1170), and have ACT sub-scores of 19 Math (460 SAT) and 18 English (450 SAT).

Adult Freshmen:
Age 25 and over who are graduates of state-approved high schools (or have received their GED) must provide proof of graduation or successful GED completion. Students will be required to submit official ACT, SAT or COMPASS scores.
