Toronto-based Lisi Mechanical Contractors says it can respond quickly to its clients’ problems with its
24/7 service. The fully bondable company completes work for a diverse range of structures, it says.

Robert Lisi Jr. says. “We never walk away from a problem, no
matter whose fault it is,” he says. “We will work with the
team to come up with cost-effective solutions to undertake
any problems.”
Based in Toronto, Ontario, the family owned and operat-
ed contractor’s specialties include plumbing, heating and
fire protection services. Brothers Robert and Bruno Lisi
incorporated the company in 1979.
Lisi’s Modest Start
Originally, the two owners immigrated to Canada from the
small town of Bagnara, Italy, in 1965. While Bruno Lisi
started working in Canada as a steamfitter, his brother
worked as a plumber’s apprentice.
They decided to form the company 14 years later, which
had a modest start, Robert Lisi Jr. says. Initially, Lisi
Mechanical began with a single truck, while its headquar-

ters was located in the basement of Bruno Lisi’s home. Lisi
Mechanical’s first project was a plumbing contract for a
beauty salon.
Over the years, the company grew substantially, adding
locations and other members of the Lisi family to its staff,
including Robert Lisi Jr., who joined the company full time in
1999. Today, Lisi Mechanical says that it operates from a
15,000-square-foot complex that holds its office warehouse
and in-shop pre-fabrication, and it also has two acres of out-
door storage.
