Your mind is a fascinating place every day you are becoming better and better at being more and more YOU. As you think certain thoughts they actually mould the way your brain thinks. It becomes wired to think the same way again and again. Watch this brief video on neuroplasticity to understand why your brain thinks the way it does! So what if you picked up some crappy neural pathways along the way?? Dont worry! Neuroplasticity can allow you to literally change the wiring of your brain, its just a matter of understanding and practice.
When you find yourself in a familiar and habitual thought pattern, the most important thing you can do is to NOT think it. Easier said than done right? Its really a matter of noticing your emotions. So if you start to think about your financial situation and a sick feeling comes to the pit of your stomach, switch your focus to something else. Your feelings will indicate when you are on an old, and damaging thought pattern. Do anything you can to distract yourself. 3. Forge a new path Get in the habit of installing new thoughts. Just like anything in life this is about practice. The first time you think something new you will fight it, and feel like it is wrong. Your old connections will pop up. Start by using the words, What if. So as you feel yourself going into an old thought pattern ask what if.. something different were true? What if you had a different relationship to love, to money, to health, to whatever? What if you no longer had this worry? What would you feel? What would you do? A great way to find new thoughts is to pay attention to how other people think. Listen to audios from people you admire and respect, read books and articles from people who have accomplished what you want to accomplish. In order to know what new thoughts to install you have to know what thoughts will serve you! You may find that in order to force your brain to have these thoughts you need to get out a journal and write it out. Its much easier to direct the thoughts you have in writing than if you just allow your brain to float around. It wont be easy at the start, but its a muscle that needs to be built overtime. 4. Pay attention
Most thought patterns happen when we arent paying attention. Neural nets are a useful way for us to know how to react to a situation without having to think it through. But if youve learned a reaction thats not helpful for you you need to notice when its happening. Pay attention to your feelings. Do feelings pop up that seem unexplainable? Particularly notice those that seem to come out of the blue. You were feeling fine, then suddenly terrified, angry, upset, etc. This happened to me yesterday when something broke my flow of typing in my blog and suddenly I had a deep fear clutching at my chest. It was a fear that my writing was crap and everyone would hate it. That was an old program that I hadnt thought it awhile, so it was interesting to notice that the connection isnt entirely broken yet and now I can do something about it! 5. Make the new become the old Pick three new thought patterns you want to install. Follow the steps above to notice when you are on the old pattern and begin to install the new one. Your new neural pathways will be strengthened by thinking them again and again and again overtime. Journal daily at the start to force that practice to happen, listen to audio to force your brain to try on new thinking, distract yourself with anything you enjoy. and overtime you will find that you just think differently!
But through sheer frustration I decided to try blogging. And it was through listening to audios from successful bloggers, understanding how they thought, and writing about how I felt and what I felt I could accomplish that my brain slowly began to re-wire. While its not perfect yet, my new thinking led me to be a stronger blogger. and let me have the confidence to go after my dreams. The result? Within a year of starting blogging I have quit my Starbucks job, and earned more from my blog than I ever earned in a job. Within a year I have created an income for our entire family, so we can be job free and happy. Within a year I have created a following of people, and helped others to find freedom through blogging. If I had kept that old crummy thought that I was worthless, could I have created any of this?? I doubt it! But it was a matter of getting around people who think differently, forcing myself to find some new and uncomfortable thoughts and practicing until they were the norm. If you want to create true change in your life by locking arms with people who have done what you want to do, and who can help you change the crappy pattern youve been stuck in You NEED to click the button here:

WARNING: It will probably shock you toward the end (and many people have been offended by it), the guy in it has the guts to speak from a REAL perspective, instead of the usual sugar coated stuff you see online.
