STATE INCENTIVES
166 Direct Loan: Financing for manufacturing
and other eligible facilities, including building
construction, building acquisition and machinery or
equipment.
Columbia Gas Fund: Job growth fund grant program
to promote job creation in Columbia Gas service ter-
ritory for projects with initial capital investment of at
least $1 million creating at least 50 jobs.
Economic Development Grant: For the acquisition
of machinery and equipment, building construction,
building acquisition, infrastructure improvements
and other fxed-asset investments.
JCTC: Job Creation Tax Credit: For businesses that ex-
pand or locate in Ohio. Program provides a tax credit
against the commercial activity tax.
OEBF: Ohio Enterprise Bond Fund: Loans for fxed-rate,
long-term capital asset fnancing for 7-10 years for
equipment and 15-20 years for real estate.
OITP: Ohio Investment in Training Program: Training
funds to companies are reimbursed based on 50 per-
cent of the company costs per instruction hour and
costs for instructional materials and special needs.
R&D Investment: Research & Development Invest-
ment Tax Credit: Non-refundable Ohio commercial
activity tax credit for all investment in qualifed
research expenses in Ohio.
Roadwork Development (629) Fund: Public
roadway improvements, including engineering and
design costs.
ROG: Rapid Outreach Grant: For infrastructure
improvements, including water, sewer, road and rail
improvements. Funds are also used for acquisition of
machinery and equipment.
Workforce Guarantee Program: Funding for worker
training for creating and retaining jobs through
improvement of worker skills and abilities.
