Randy Smith is Chairman and Co-Founder of STR. Randy Smith cofounded STR in 1985. He is widely quoted in the industry as the authority on hotel industry performance and is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and seminars. Mr. Smith received the 2011 Lodging Hospitality Magazines Stephen W. Brener Silver Plate Award, he is the 2010 recipient of the ALIS Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the lodging industry, and he was a 2007 inductee to the Florida State University College of Business Hall of Fame. He is a member and past co-chairman of the Industry Real Estate Financing Advisory Council (IREFAC) and the 2002 recipient of the prestigious IREFAC C. Everett Johnson Award. He is also vice-chair of the American Hotel Foundation Funding Committee. Mr. Smith is a charter member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and a former member of the board of directors. He is the recipient of the 1996 Industry Pioneer Award of the ISHC for outstanding contribution to the lodging industry. Mark Lomanno is CEO of STR. Mr. Lomanno has been with STR for over 15 years. Mr. Lomanno is highly regarded for his lodging industry expertise and writes a column for Hotel & Motel Management magazine. He serves on the advisory boards of the HSMAI Foundation, The Center for Hospitality Research at Cornell University, and Travel Industry of America. He is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and guest lecturer at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Brittany Baldwin is Sales Executive for STR. Ms. Baldwin is responsible for the growth of STRs Independent Hotel participant programs in U.S. resort destinations and the Caribbean, working closely with the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association, Caribbean Tourism Organization and individual country hotel associations. Ms. Baldwin is often featured as a guest speaker for industry and How-to-Use STAR presentations. She is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Associations Under 30 Gateway & sits on the steering committee for the Tennessee Under 30 Gateway. Prior to joining STR, Ms. Baldwin worked for independent Verizon Wireless retailers as a sales representative. She is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a bachelors degree in Marketing. She resides in Gallatin, TN with her husband. Scott d. Berman is Principal, Real Estate Business Advisory Services and Industry Leader, Hospitality & Leisure for PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. Mr. Berman is a specialist in the field of hotel and resort development and operations with 25 years of experience providing consulting services in the United States, South America, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, the Far East and the former Soviet Union. He has experience with a multitude of leisure time and tourism related projects, including hotels and resorts of all types, cruise lines, vacation ownership and resort residential development, recreational facilities such as spas and marinas, cruise ships, casinos, theme parks and other public assembly facilities. Mr. Berman is a Founding Member of the Advisory Board of the Cornell University Center for Hospitality Research. He is currently the Chair of the Industry Relations Committee of the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association.

Bobby Bowers is Senior Vice President, Operations for STR. Mr. Bowers is the primary contact for many of STRs major hotel company clients and oversees all aspects of STR client services and sales efforts. He is frequently quoted in national and industry publications on lodging trends and statistics. He is often the keynote presenter at international, national and regional industry conferences. Mr. Bowers has over 25 years of global lodging industry experience. He has a broad background which includes strategic marketing, industry analysis and product management. Vail Brown Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing for STR. Ms. Brown is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of the sales and marketing strategies and activities for the STR Family of Companies. Along with hotel specific sales and marketing, Ms. Browns efforts are directed towards expanding relationships with third party vendors by promoting new products and services. She is often featured as a guest speaker at international, national, regional and state conferences. Ms. Brown currently is the Chair for the AH&LA Women In Lodging (WIL) Council and holds a seat on the HSMAI Foundation Board of Directors. Prior to joining STR, Ms. Brown was the Director of Membership Development for the Tennessee Hotel & Lodging Association and Greater Nashville Hotel & Lodging Association. Chris Cares is Managing Director for RRC Associates. Mr. Cares possesses a diverse background in public and private planning and market research. A founding partner of RRC Associates, he specializes in practical applications of quantitative and qualitative research including surveys, modeling, focus group facilitation, and public outreach for problem solving in a variety of industries and settings. His research and recommendations have helped to shape both the design and marketing strategies of major resorts and other developer clients, as well as advertising campaigns, hospitality performance evaluations, community development programs, etc. He has coordinated the planning and public processing of numerous large resort and mixed-use projects. Joseph Carino, Jr. is Vice President of the GBTA Allied Leadership Council and Board Member, and he is President & CEO of CARINO Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. CARINO Hotels is a full service sales, customer information and reservations company that helps hotels build business by connecting them to corporate, group and leisure customers. He has also served on both the GBTA Hotel Committee and Political Action Committee. Additionally, he is also a Past President of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Greater New York Chapter. Before launching the CARINO Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Mr. Carino was with The Preferred Hotel Group as the Director of Corporate Sales Worldwide. Bill Carlson is Senior Vice President, Performance Analytics for Choice Hotels International, Inc. In this position, he is responsible for providing the company with business intelligence services to drive strategic and operating decisions in support of CHIs goals. Since joining Choice in 1998, Mr. Carlson has been instrumental in improving the guest appeal of its rewards programs via new features, unique promotions and partnerships with companies such as Southwest Airlines. He also has played major roles in establishing the companys customer database, developing its direct marketing capabilities and developing and deploying the companys hotel-level guest satisfaction system.

Chad Church is Director, Special Services for STR. In his role as Director, he manages relationships and special projects for consulting, investment, government, and corporate hotel clients. In addition, Mr. Church is the project lead for the STR Market Forecast and is currently involved in the development of several new STR initiatives. He is a regular speaker at industry meetings and conventions and is a frequent contributor to various news media outlets. He is also the Treasurer of the Southeast States Chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association and a board member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association Under 30 Gateway. Mr. Church earned his Master of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his Bachelors degree in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University. John (Jack) B. Corgel, Ph.d is Senior Advisor for PKF Hospitality Research. Dr. Jack Corgel holds the Robert C. Baker Chaired Professorship in Real Estate at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He served as the first Director of the Hotel Schools Center for Hospitality Research. After receiving undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Georgia in real estate and corporate finance, he held faculty positions in several business schools at major universities before joining Cornell. Mr. Crenshaw has also previously held senior revenue related positions with Marriott International. Kevin Crissey is Executive Director for UBS Investment Research, specializing in US airlines and Online Travel Agencies. He has been named as the #1 stock picker for US airlines in the Wall Street Journal Best on the Street report and as one of the top stock pickers by StarMine. Mr. Crissey joined UBS as an associate analyst in February 2003, following airfreight, railroad, trucking, logistics and shipping stocks. Prior to joining UBS, he was a consultant to UBS and other financial services companies for five years. He also worked in the real estate group for Smith Barney for four years. Mr. Crissey holds an MBA in finance from New York University, and a BS in finance and international business from the Pennsylvania State University. Lindsay Culbreath is Director, Sales for STR. Ms. Culbreath oversees the sales efforts for STR. She is responsible for the growth of all STR participant programs as well as building vendor relationships. Ms. Culbreath is often featured as a guest speaker at regional and state conferences and she was recently a council member of the American Hotel & Lodging Associations Under 30 Gateway. Prior to joining STR, Ms. Culbreath was the Divested Accounts Supervisor for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). She is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a bachelors degree in Marketing and Management. Wes dean is Vice President of Information Technology for M3 Hotel Accounting. Mr. Dean leads the companys technology organization in the development of new software solutions, as well as overseeing the upgrade and enhancement of existing products. His responsibilities include directing Research and Development activities and formulating long-term visions and strategies for the companys technology and service offerings. Mr. Dean also directs the companys multi-location hosting operations and serves as the executive security officer; as such, he directs the design, budget and capacity planning for M3s distributed data center operations. He has also served as an infantry officer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army with three deployments, most recently just four years ago.

Sarah duignan is Director of Account Management for STR Global. Ms. Duignan joined the HotelBenchmark team at Deloitte in London as a Business Development Executive and as the team re-structured came to manage a number of key international clients in the Account Management Team. STR Global was formed in March 2008 following the merger of the HotelBenchmark team with The Bench and Smith Travel Research. Mr. Weiss was previously an associate at CBRE Hotels Hospitality & Gaming Valuation Advisory Services Group, where he was awarded Silver and Gold production awards during each year of his tenure. He also received the Valuation Services Professional of the Year Award for the Tri-State region in 2007. Prior to joining CBRE, he was the executive position of Director of Operations for CARINO Hotels & Resorts in New York. Following successful terms as Board Member and Vice President, Mr. Weiss currently serves as President of the NYU Tisch Center Alumni Society, as well as a member of the Tisch Centers Advisory Board. Kristi White is the Director of Revenue Optimization for TravelClick. Ms. Whites team is dedicated to providing personalized attention to TravelClicks iHotelier Central Reservations customers to maximize each hotels transactions revenue through best practices in marketing and distribution. Ms. White advises hundreds of hotels across the globe on their business strategy, improving hotel performance and overall profitability. Ms. White has more than twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry, with positions ranging from Front Office Operations to Regional Director of Sales at both independent and flagged hotels. A recognized expert in her field, she is a frequent speaker on revenue management and distribution at industry conferences and hospitality schools.

Carter Wilson is Director of STR Analytics. Mr. Wilson has over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry and consulting for over 15. As Director of STR Analytics, he is part of a team whose goal is to find new ways to analyze STR data and bring more meaningful results to his clients, including developing new subscription-based reports, new hospitality metrics, and new data-modeling technologies. Prior to joining STR Analytics, Mr. Wilson performed appraisal and consulting assignments for over 3,000 hotels, resorts, casinos, conference centers, and golf courses in all 50 states and abroad. He served as Senior Vice President of HVS, where he co-managed the day-to-day operations of the office and spearheaded efficiency and scalability efforts for the group. Michelle Wohl is Vice President of Marketing and Client Services for Revinate. Used by leading hotels, brands and management companies, Revinate is a software platform designed exclusively for the hospitality industry that makes it easy for hoteliers to take control of their online reputation by using online reviews and social media to learn from and connect with travelers. Ms. Wohl spent her early career at Adobe, where she led product marketing for the Web products, and later, Adobe Acrobat. Passionate about helping people communicate better on the Web, she left Adobe to join the first social network, Friendster, as the Director of Marketing. Later, Ms. Wohl took her passion for social media to Sprout as VP of Marketing. At Sprout she worked with leading brands such as Disney, Coke and Pepsi to develop social media campaigns and strategies.
