Action Item Items 1 Presentation Of Agenda Jun Xiang explained the reason to push the meeting date from 25/10/2012 to 30/10/2012 is because of prioritizing CSCI262 assignment 1 which is due on 2/11/2012. Discuss on research from literature reviews done by group members. Distribute proposal works among each members based on strength and weakness identified on the submitted members profiles. Discuss, register and set up a project website. Time plan and requirements of the assignments are emphasized to the group members. 2 Actions from last minutes All project members diaries were checked to be consistent. Documenter: Sing Hui Stephen Ang 4 Project Specification Setting up of project website A project website is created with a temporary link of http://dbengine.blogspot.sg/ . Decided to use a blogspot website as it is free and consists of wide range of beautiful, customizable template and layout which will save us time to design the website. Most importantly it is easy to maintain. Joel is tasked to maintain the website/ Maintaining of Project Website Advertise products, upload documents

Communication link All documents will be posted to the project website for sharing and Secondary Junxiang will keep a backup of all documents in his hard drive. communication link All members created a Skype account for online discussion. Discussion on literature reviews Further research of literature review need to be due to a limitation of information. Further research on the following questions: What is inference protection? How to develop procedures and policy for database security? How does Oracle and MySQL works? What are the required tasks specifications? Assigning proposal tasks to members 1. Executive Summary 2. All must use PPTemplate-SJ and CSCI321_WritingAPr ojectProposal as a basic guidelines to develop their points.

Preparation for next meeting Prepare for next meeting discussion which will finalise the project proposal. Documents needed for phrase 1: Preliminary Project Documents, Technical Design Manual, Design Specification and Prototype Demo. Next Deliverables for phrase 1 (10 Nov 2012): Project proposal, and Project Website.

Current Situation Basic project website was set up, literature review need to be further research on, project proposal tasks are issued. Nil

Arrangement of Next Meeting Next meeting will be held on Sunday 08/11/2012 Location: SIM Annex Time: 1300 Meeting is held a week after because time is needed to finalize CSCI262 assignment 1 which is due on the extended date 03/11/2012. Members must inform group leader to request for change of date and/or timing.
