Find books and e-books

Use the Library catalogue Use the library web catalogue to identify our print holdings of: books, reports, journals, working papers, short loan titles, reference works and directories. To find out if we have an e-book version go to the detailed book entry in the catalogue. If you are in Portal you will be able to access the electronic version. With the catalogue you can also renew you own books online, place reservations, order inter-library loans for items not held, and request an item to be purchased.

Find journals and e-journals

Use Article Finder Which database has the Harvard Business Review in full text? Which electronic full text journals do we have in the area of e-commerce? Do you have a full citation to a journal article and need to quickly retrieve the full text? Use Article Finder which checks our subscribed databases plus the Library catalogue to help you find the full text articles you need.

Find the right database

In Portal databases are listed alphabetically but you can change the view. by subject Browse by subject and some of the headings include: energy advertising and marketing mergers and acquisitions automotive venture capital and private equity commodities corporate governance by content type You can also browse by content type to find such categories as: investment analysts reports biographies market and industry reports citation counts multimedia company annual reports statistics company filings working papers company financials country data Use 360 Search Use one simple search form to search a cluster of databases. Databases covered include two of our most popular: Factiva and Business Source Complete plus a selection of other journals databases, encyclopaedias and other reference sources. The result can be clustered to show the most commonly occurring journals or authors. Use library catalogue Use the request materials tab to request books or journal articles not currently available Subscribe to our Bizresearch Blog On the Library home page in Portal you can see the latest postings on our Bizresearch Blog. Here we post news about new library databases and database enhancements and new features. Current students may borrow 15 books. Faculty and PhDs 25. The loan period is 14 days for students and 28 days for faculty, PhDs and staff. Books may be renewed up to six times if another user has not requested them. Fines are levied for late returns. Items designated short loan are required readings recommended by faculty and are available for overnight loan. They are due back by 10.00 the next day. Fines are levied for late returns. (For part-time students, the books are due back when the student is next on campus.) Copyright warning London Business School students may use library-subscribed electronic databases for personal educational research purposes only, and must comply at all times with the copyright holders terms and conditions. Use for any other purpose such as commercial activity, consultancy or resale is strictly prohibited. The list of services offered by the library is correct at the time of going to print, but maybe subject to change.
