1 Flush-cut several lengths of wire to coil on the 18-gauge wire. i generally cut 2'3' (6191.5 cm) of wire in gauges from 20 to 24 and may or may not use all of the wire that i coil. Clean all of your wire thoroughly with 0000 (superfine) steel wool.
2 Bend one of the lengths of finegauge wire over the 18-gauge wire, in preparation for coiling it.
3 Coil the wire tightly around the 18-gauge wire, with no gaps or overwraps.
4 When youve coiled several pieces of wire, set them aside. you may or may not use them all in a single pair of earrings; any leftover coils may be used in various other projects.
5 Flush-cut two pieces of 18-gauge wire, each 4" (10 cm) long.
8 Because the coil has been cut on the diagonal, youll need to flushcut both coil ends so they have a smooth finish.
9 Place each coil on a 4" (10 cm) piece of 18-gauge wire and press down the coiled ends if needed.
10 Bring each coil to the precise center 11 grasp a coiled wire piece in flat-nose of each 18-gauge wire piece. pliers, just to the right of center.
14 Place the two largest bead dangles on the coiled wire pieces. triangle drop earrings
