INTRODUCTION TO SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS - 3 DAYS TRAINING COURSE


This training is intended to provide an introduction to the technology of shell and tube heat exchangers. These heat exchangers are the workhorse of mostly process industry where they provide flexibility, robustness and ease of cleaning. The course details the design, fabrication, inspection, maintenance, cleaning and repair of shell and tube heat exchangers.

He has over 21 years of experience designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks. He has given pressure vessel training in Canada and India, and has held several inhouse workshops in United States. Mr. Tiwari is an approved pressure vessel instructor at NTPC. This course is targeted at the power, chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, pulp and paper, and food processing industry. It is designed for professionals with varying levels of familiarity and experience with shell and tube heat exchangers. The course will provide a broad understanding of the technology and an excellent base for further learning. It will illustrate the interaction between the thermal and mechanical design, the understanding of which will lead to more reliable design outcomes. And for those coming from an operating environment, this course will lead to a greater knowledge of the maintenance, inspection and repair needs of shell and tube heat exchangers, including information on common causes of failure.
