in front of the VIP stand. Please limit to 3-4 sentences. Longer remarks are not possible to announce due to
time limitations and they will have to be edited by the committee. If this is left blank – you WILL NOT be

OUT OR GIVEN OUT DURING THE PARADE. IF YOU WISH TO HAND OUT SOMETHING, YOU
MUST COMPLETE PRIOR TO BEGINNING OF PARADE. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE
RULES WILL DEEM IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM PARADE. THANK YOU!
 FOR SAFETY REASONS: ABSOLUTELTY NO STOPPING AND PERFORMING ALONG PARADE
ROUTE. YOU MAY ONLY PERFORM AT THE GRANDSTAND. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE
RULES WILL DEEM IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM PARADE. THANK YOU!!

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

The undersigned agrees to participate in the 2009 Schertz 4th of July Jubilee Parade to be
held on July 4, 2009 in Schertz, Texas. We agree to cooperate in every way possible to
abide by the established rules in order to insure safety and success of the parade.

The 2009 Schertz 4th of July Jubilee committee shall not be responsible and/or held
liable for the property of participants from theft, damage by fire, water, accidents and/or
other causes of injuries. It is hereby understood and agreed that the above organization,
business, corporation, and/or individual(s) shall not hold the officers, members agents,
volunteers and or employees of the City of Schertz and Schertz Chamber of Commerce
and/or sponsors of the event responsible for any and all liability, suit, destruction, injury,
and/or claims caused by them, their volunteers and/or to volunteers, participants and/or
spectators.
