HISTORY JUNIOR RESEARCH PAPER FINAL DUE DATE: Friday, April 5 (online and in hard copy) The purpose of the junior research paper is to use your research skills to explore a topic of your choice. You will need to choose a topic, create a research question, conduct research and write the paper. The various components of the paper assignment will be a significant portion of your thirdquarter grade. We are devoting some class time (research and writing) to the project, but majority of the work will be completely at home. You should take it seriously and seek individual help often throughout the process. I am generally available during the following times: before school (Monday through Friday) after school (Monday until 3 p.m., most Thursdays, all Fridays) X C1, 3-4 A E The Cary Memorial Library is a good place to look for more resources. Furthermore, you can obtain sources throughout the Minuteman Library Network or Boston Public Libraries. You are responsible for your work and the timeline on the next page will help you progress in a timely fashion on this project throughout the quarter. This paper is worth half of your final exam grade, which is 20 percent of your course grade.
