You will still be required to purchase your ad, however if the program book has been sent to the printer your ad will not be in the book** Interviews & Practices: Interview time as well as Practice times will be listed on the information sheet you will receive at registration

**Rules for Little Miss & Miss Malvern 2013 (Must meet ONE of the following): 1. Must live in the Town of Malvern. 2. Must live within 1.5 Miles of the Town of Malvern Limits, Which is the approved Malvern Fire Department jurisdiction. 3. Must be a registered voter in the Town of Malvern. 4. Must be registered with the Town of Malvern Water Department. 5. Little Miss contestants must be in 1st grade the date of pageant 6. Miss contestants must be between the ages of 17-21 by October 1st

**Deadline for registration will be March 13, 2013**

All ads, photos for programs, & photogenic categories will be due March 13, 2013. There will be an additional charge of $10 for all late entries. Applications may be picked up at local community schools, formal dress shops, & Malvern Town Hall. Score sheets will also be available after the pageant for $5.00. You will need to bring a self addressed stamped envelope to practice for your score sheets to be mailed to you. Please be sure to have contestants arrive 10-15 minutes early to all practices, interview, & pageant. All practices will be CLOSED. So please be prepared to drop your children off! There are NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS! Interviews will be the morning of the pageant. At registration you will be given a sheet with your times and any other information you may need for interviews.

Theme
The theme this year will be a A Red Carpet Affair. We want our girls to "Always wear your invisible crowns" and what better way to do this than on a red carpet. Little Miss, Young Jr Miss, Jr Miss, Teen Miss, & Miss for attire: Think your favorite fashion icon (i.e.: Audrey Hepburn, Taylor Swift, & Carrie Underwood) Dresses may be long, short, cocktail style, or full glamour girl. Its your choice. Future Little Miss for attire: you will wear your heirlooms. You will focus on accessory. Think your favorite accessory on the red carpet (i.e.: handbags, shoes, jewelry, etc.)

**Registration fee will be $75. Contestants will be required to purchase a $30 ad (This can be done by contestant or by ad sales.) Interview, Photogenic, & Prettiest Dress will be optional categories for Baby Miss, Tiny Miss, Future Little Miss, Young Jr. Miss, Jr. Miss, & Teen Miss. Optional Categories will be $25 a piece. Group package for all 3 optionals will be $50! The photogenic photo needs to be an 8x10 or 5x7 with the contestants name & number on the back of it. The picture also needs to be in a clear cover. These MUST BE TURNED IN MARCH 22, 2013. Interview & Photogenic are great ways for your child to compete for other awards. REQUIREMENTS: Little Miss Contestants will not be allowed to wear any makeup. Any contestant found wearing make-up will be disqualified. All other categories make-up should be age appropriate*** ***All contestants MUST ATTEND all practices unless arrangements have been made with Pageant Director. Practices will also be closed to parents & family members. Please arrive on time & sign your child in & then you may leave & return to pick them up after practice is over*** ****MISS CONTESTANTS****
PORTFOLIOS MUST BE TURNED IN BY March 22, 2013. Please submit 3 copies of your portfolio for each judge. We will provide an example on the day of registration so you have an idea of what yours should look like. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION will be done on March 22, 2013 after practice. Your topic will be given to you right after practice. VERBAL- You will pick a word/phrase out of a bowl & tell us what it means to you. Attire for Verbal Communication will be Suits
