The North Country Spouses Club (NCSC) is now accepting scholarship applications
The applications are due March 30, 2013. The following people are eligible for scholarships: spouses and children of active duty, reserve, or retired active duty military (officer or enlisted) that will be enrolled in a full or part-time accredited degree program during the upcoming 2013-2014 academic year (fall & spring terms). Applicants or their military sponsors must reside in the Fort Drum area or associated communities. Individuals who will be attending a service academy or who accept any other full scholarship are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Scholarships are based on scholastic merit and community involvement. Race, color, sex, national origin, or financial need will not influence the selection. Applications are available through local schools, NCSC Facebook page, and the NCSC website NorthCountrySpousesClub.weebly.com. MEDDAC provide updated clinic coverage plans for Martin Luther King Jr. training and federal holidays
U.S. Army Medical Department Activity officials have announced clinic coverage plans for the Martin Luther King Jr. federal and training holidays, Jan. 21 and Jan. 22, respectively. On the federal holiday, Monday, Jan. 21, MEDDAC facilities are closed with the exception of the Ambulance Section On the training holiday, Tuesday, Jan. 22, MEDDAC facilities will be open with reduced staffing, with the exception of the Conner Troop Medical Clinic, which will be closed for patient care. Patients with urgent care needs are asked to call (315) 772-2778. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department for treatment.
