You have lots of choices for your investment dollars. TRF offers an opportunity that not only builds your portfolio, but also builds: Housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and for communities with high potential for market recovery. Supermarkets and other fresh food retailers that bring jobs and increase access to healthy foods in underserved communities. Businesses and commercial real estate assets that anchor neighborhoods, provide jobs, and seed further economic growth. Community facilities like charter schools and social service organizations that improve the choices and resources available to families. Sustainable energy projects that encourage efficiency and the application of clean technologies to build a sustainable energy future for our region.

TRFs approach to generating economic growth is innovative, strategic, and fiscally sound. We apply information and real-world knowledge of the communities we serve to pinpoint rich opportunities and untapped resources. Weve helped reclaim neighborhoods others have left behind and our expertise has made us a national leader.
WHEN YOU INVEST WITH TRF, YOU MAKE MORE THAN MONEY. YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

A TRF investor can lend a minimum of $1,000 for a period of 3 to 30 years. Each investment can earn a small interest that can vary according to the period of investment. For example a $1,000 investment for 10 years can earn 3.25% in interest, as opposed to 1.25% if invested for only 3 years. Some choose to make an equity contribution where every $1 contributed puts $5 to work on the street for years to come. TRF is a 501 c3 and an equity contribution to TRF is completely tax-deductible. The financial return is modest, but the social return is enormous. Together, our investors create new homes, new schools, quality jobs, and thriving businesses in neighborhoods that need them most.

Our results are concrete and measurable, immediate and lasting. TRF has made over $1.1 billion in community investments, financing over 2,670 projects since 1985. Our impact:

19,845 homes 53,120 jobs 9.5 million square feet of commercial space 35,110 charter school seats 10,185 child care seats 104 supermarkets, grocery stores and fresh food retail 600 businesses 4.4 million MWh energy conserved and created enough to power 466,533 homes for a year

What I get from TRF I consider my living return - a return paid back not only in money but also in the benefit of living in a better community. Judy Wicks, restaurateur and TRF investor
