Project Details 1. Project Area (Maximum word : 400)


Describe the geographical boundaries of the project area. Describe the socioeconomic and environmental conditions of project area. If target area is not one of fifteen priority sites (see sites listed in guidelines of Partnership Fund) mention nearest ecological site. Map should be annexed showing location of project area within district or provincial boundaries.

2. Project Beneficiaries
Mention who and how many will be direct beneficiaries of the project activities, e.g. a particular social group (farmers, fishermen, children, women etc.) or a particular natural resource (forest, fish, livestock, wildlife, natural vegetation)

3. Project Justification (Maximum word : 400)


Outline reasons why this project is being proposed, what issue/problem is being addressed through this project. Also describe, to which theme of Indus Ecoregion Plan this project related to. Provide details or attach a copy of previous research and survey results relevant to proposed activities. While justifying the proposed project it is essential to outlines its conservation rationale, e.g. Impact of project on the species, habitats, ecological processes, sustainable natural resource use and poverty alleviation.

4. Project Goal, objectives and Expected out comes


Describe the project goal and it SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time bound) objectives. Note: It is also mandatory to append a Logical Framework Matrix as an annexure.

5. Implementing Strategy (Maximum word : 600)


Describe the project activities, roles and responsibilities of the project stakeholders. If community is direct beneficiary details should be provided of envisaged community participation including gender aspects.

Project Success & Sustainability


Justify the success of the project and measures to ensure its sustainability. (The project executor will be encouraged to produce the projects results in the shape of an article, at the end of project. The article will be published in magazines such as Natura.)

Monitoring Mechanism.
Provide details about the internal monitoring mechanism of the project i.e. who will internally monitor the project. (The Indus for All Programme- Partnership Fund will monitor the project on bi annual basis and at end of project an evaluation will be conducted. The project

executor is requires to allocate 10 % of the total cost for the external monitoring, evaluation and audit that will be conducted by Indus for All Programme).
