Good indoor air quality (IAQ) is a key aspect of sust ainable design. The Green Mark for Buildings Scheme by BCA includes I ndoor Environment Quality embracing IAQ as one of t he key criteria in t he assessment score t o encourage healt hier and less pollut ing pract ices in t he built env ironment. This coursew ill enhance your underst anding of t he fundament als of IAQ. You w ill be able t o ident ify t he tw o major indoor contaminants - chemical and microbiological cont aminants. Describe t heir sources and healt h hazards and t ake appropriat e remediation measures. Conduct IAQ inv est igat ion and t ake measurements of common indoor cont aminant s. You w ill gain pract ical insights on specific IAQ problems and solutions from real case st udy examples.
Effective 1st April 2013, the course fee will be revised to $430.00 (incl. GST). To enjoy the current course fee, completed registration form with payment must be received by BCA Academy latest by 28 March 2013.
