28 GOD ANSWERS PRAYER Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither

do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally and reproves not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, that we should believe in His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. (We do believe in His Son, and we do love one another.) This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know, that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. (Phil 4:19 is His will.)
