PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Research Engineer Industrial & Technological Development Center August 07 - Present University of Missouri, Columbia, MO

Project:- Eects of instabilities in machining Dened process improvement goals by conducting vibration based monitoring of cutting tools and machining process; studied nonlinear eects causing instability in the processes. Measured dynamic responses using data acquisition techniques; performed Modal testing on cutting tools/structures to identify their frequency response functions. Analyzed tool vibration signals to predict instabilities in the process; investigated new instability phenomenon for metal cutting process and validated the predictions with detailed experiments. Suggested improvements for process optimization, dimensional accuracy, reduce unstable oscillations, and to take full advantage of the machining centers capabilities. Simulated dynamic machine-tool response for chatter phenomena; created algorithms accountable for motion dependent discontinuity of the machine-tool; predicted process control to improve quality, and cost. Managed and maintained project inventory. Graduate Research Assistant Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering August 05 - Present University of Missouri, Columbia, MO

Project:- Structural Asymmetry & nonlinear regeneration Investigated on multiple modeling choices for analyzing the rich and complex dynamics of highspeed milling. Studied the presence of hysteresis in the bifurcation diagrams, and the presence of coexisting periodic and quasi-periodic attractors. Demonstrated understanding and experience in vibration test instrumentation, evaluation of

test requirements, data acquisition systems as it pertains to hands-on involvement with testing activities. Performed Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based spectral analysis, and other analysis techniques. Project:- Graduate Instructor Instructed Manufacturing methods lab twice a week to a class of 40 students each, and supervised student CNC projects. Generated complete CNC programs for intricate 3D prototype parts utilizing Master CAM, and CAD/CAM systems focusing on rapid prototype production. Constructed lab settings from the ground up; developed PLC programs, and helped students to build projects relating to Industrial Automation using RS Logix 5.
