INTENDED USE — Use in high mounting heights that require high efficien-
cies, horizontal illumination, premium glare control and total enclosure. Ideal High Bay Industrial Lighting
for heavy manufacturing areas, gymnasiums and wet location applications.
CONSTRUCTION — Housing- Vertically seamed, heavy-duty, die-cast alumi-
num halves. Ballast and electrical components are heat-sinked and hori-
zontally opposed. Integral splice box mounting flange ensures structural
integrity.

FINISH — Electrostatically applied white polyester powder paint.
OPTICAL SYSTEM — One-piece totally enclosed and gasketing fluted spun
Metal Halide
aluminum, anodized reflector combines high efficiency with extended
shielding angle for high performance optical control. Clear tempered glass High Pressure Sodium
lens is fully gasketed to inhibit the entrance of ambient contaminants. Lens 250W, 400W
assembly is hinged and latched to allow access for easy maintenance.
Meets UL lamp rupture containment specifications.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM — Ballast - 100% factory tested, high power factor,
constant-wattage autotransformer. 180OC Class H insulated system. Meets
UL standard for HID ballast system.
Socket- Vertically oriented, mogul-base socket with copper alloy, nickel-
plated screw shell and center contact. UL Listed 1500W, 600V, 5KV pulse
rated for U.S. lamps.
INSTALLATION — Ballast Housing - 16-gauge galvanized steel pendant
splice box with white polyester powder finish. Removable box slides on
integral die-cast aluminum housing mounting flange and mounts to 3/4"
pendant conduit prior to ballast housing installation. Matching wire access
cover accepts Reloc modular wiring. Complete assembly meets or exceeds Specifications
UL 50-pound pull test.
