Quiz Bowl practice will be held Thursday after school. Any student who did not attend Saturdays tourney will not need to attend practice. Data Match Forms sold each day this week during lunch. $3 for one or 2 for $5 Old Folks Day! Congratulations to Devin Ibison, Brian Pullen, Clay Watts and Gunnar White for placing in Junior Varsity Wrestling Tournament in Bentonville last weekend. Each of these wrestlers placed 3rd in their perspective weight divisions. Conference Bowling Tourney in Lowell this week. Yearbooks may be ordered until the 21st with Ms. Williams in the Media Center. FBLA meets Wednesday during Activity Period. Partners Club meets Wednesday during Activity Period. Math Club will also meet Wednesday during Activity Period to work on Valentines for Pink Bud Nursing Home Residents. This is the community service project for February. AIP Literacy Wednesday during Activity Period. Junior High Tennis practice begins Monday, February 18 from 3:30 5:00. Any 8th or 9th grade student interested in playing tennis should go to the tennis courts on Feb 18 or call Coach Ben Anderson at 479-461-4648. Applications for Athletic Trainer available in the office. Completed applications must be returned by February 20, 2013. See Mrs. McBride for more information. Cross Country and long distance track runners each day after school. Practice will last approximately until 4:45 p.m. FCA Friday in Room 1 7:30 a.m. See Coach Williams for details. Progress Reports February 7 Spirit Week all week! Thursday: Blue & White Day Friday: Super Hero Day The NJHS will sponsor a Talent Show on February 21, @ 8:15 AM in the PAC. (Teachers please note change in time to accommodate CAP schedule) Students who would like to sign up to be in the Talent Show may do so with Mrs. McBride in the office next week. There will be a limited number of acts due to time. Order of signing up and variety will be considered when determining who gets to perform. There will be a brief practice on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 20, after school. This will allow for sound checks and set-up. Cost to students is $1. Participants in the Talent Show will not be required to pay. Winners will receive cash awards of $25, $15, and $10 respectively.
