WORSHIP SHINE A LITTLE LIGHT Today we conclude our Epiphany worship series, taking a new look at the basics of our faith through the stories of the Gospels. We are rethinking faith this Epiphany season, reimagining what it means to be a person of faith in the world today.

NUMBER YOUR DAYS Next Sunday we begin a new series for Lent when we reexamine the ways we practice our piety. The word pious has a negative connotation, perhaps because so many have practiced their piety in ways Jesus warned against: stewardship for show, prayer for public praise, fasting for facevalue. What if we tried to live a lifetime of storing up real treasures? In each of the Gospel passages a word or phrase of time is mentioned. How do we number our days so we may gain hearts of wisdom? TODAY THE RESTRUCTURING TASK FORCE will offer a presentation on their progress, to the Adult Sunday School class at 9:45 in the Chapel this Sunday. Wednesday Night Words, a Calvary small group, begins again on February 20, 6:30-7:30 p.m., and for six weeks well talk about dying.
