Workaround/Resolution:
You can correct the error with the following steps. Stop the IA server service so the IA server stops running. Go into the IAS directory and you should see a "startlic.001" file. Rename "C:\IAS\startlic.001 to startlic.lic" Restart the IA Server Service. Restart Scan Administrator Restart all CCH services. Verify Scan Administrator is operational by processing the sample file or other small file. If that fails to work you may try to remove the old licensing. NOTE: Try the first process before proceeding to the steps below.
Repeat steps 9-11 above then 1. After Renaming "C:\IAS\startlic.001" to "startlic.lic" DELETE the "C:\IAS\values.idx" 2. A new "values.idx" file will be created. 3. Restart the IA Server Service. 4. Restart Scan Administrator 5. Restart all CCH services. 6. Verify Scan Administrator is operational by processing the sample file or other small file.
