Paul Eckerstrom was elected state party chair but after State Committee Report 2 weeks has resigned due to personal/family needs in conflicts with job requirements. Next state meeting will be March 7 to elect a new chair; Harriet Young of Coconino County is Interim chair til the election. Maria Weeg, executive director, has resigned.
At PCDP meeting: County director was terminated. Fundraising critical
for repair of HQ needed; about $30K in bank; Sat. Feb. 21st is a cleanup day for HQ – cleaning supplies, refreshments for volunteers, volunteers needed; rally for public education Feb. 26.
