Ms. Williams will be taking the following yearbook pictures during Activity period today, new students, soccer, track, baseball,
softball, and 9th grade band. Pictures will be taken in the courtyard if the weather permits or in the Rock Gym if it is raining.
Last day to turn in Athletic Trainer apps is today, February 20, 2013. Turn in to Mrs. McBride.

The NJHS Talent Show Thursday, @ 8:15 AM in the PAC. Cost to GJHS Students $1 (Bank bags will be in your mailbox) Please
remind students of appropriate behavior.
Students should check with Ms. Williams in the Media Center to see if you have ordered a yearbook. Deadline to order THURSDAY.
Greenwood Baseball T-shirt order forms available in the office. Orders must be placed by Thursday.
Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday 3:30 – 8:30! Please have your gradebooks up to date by Thursday @ 8:00 a.m.
Parent Night 3:15 – 3:50 Thursday in Room 11 Discussion will include Common Core State Standards.
Transition Night 5:30 – 6:00 or 7:00 – 7:30 Thursday GJHS Cafeteria. Topics include: Transition to high school and other post-
secondary opportunities.
Students will be notified of CAP Advisors in English classes. CAP meetings will follow NJHS Talent Show Thursday.

FBLA is raising money for March of Dimes through the fill-a-card. FBLA members please return your filled card to Mrs. Clements and
get another if you would like to raise more money. Proceeds of this fund raiser will go to the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes
Foundation is a United States nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. It was founded by
then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938 to combat polio.
Congratulations to Mr. Hesslen for being named Assistant Superintendent of Greenwood Public Schools for the upcoming 13-14
school year. We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to your leadership in the coming years.
